    Too far away.

    rating04 Apr 2026

Great pool and wet bar. Not a lot of shade around the pool though.Staff were very attentive.Had a problem with our room and they moved us next day.Bed was a little firm but OK.Main problem was the location. It's just too far out of town. It took me over 30 mins to walk -in 37C heat.Tuk tuk rides to town varied from USD 1 to 2, 3 or 4 as night time approached. Same on return. It was ALWAYS a fight to negotiate a fair price. We cancelled early because of the distance but the hotel was good enough to grant us some rebate. Full credit to them.

    Not what I expected

    rating02 Nov 2025

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and really nice. The breakfast was very basic but was nice enough. I was so looking forward to my stay here after seeing all the reviews and my room being described as a cabana king room with pool view. Our room was dark, very dated and had blacked out windows out to the balcony and in the bathroom which made the room look even more duller. The bathroom was all dark concrete which made it feel dirty. Our pool view was non existing due to a massive tree in the way and the pool did not look in anyway appealing to go into. I did however love visiting Cambodia but unfortunately I would not return to this hotel. Indochine Group, General Manager at Residence Indochine D'angkor, responded to this review shortWe sincerely apologize that your room and pool view did not meet expectations. We're glad our staff were welcoming, but we are reviewing your feedback on the room's condition and presentation.Thank you for your honest input.Sincerely,

The staff here are lovely. Gojng in the rainy season, it was quite quiet. The hot breakfast is quite good, especially rice or noodles. The evening meals were very decent too. We loved this hotel. The staff made us feel very special. The pool area was gorgeous (a swim up bar too). Room very spacious, Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. Lovely selection of fresh tropical fruit. Cheap to take a tuk tuk to the old centre. Quiet area. Would highly recommend.
