    Relaxing Retirement Treat

    After two weeks exploring Cambodia this was a treat to celebrate my retirement and what a treat. We loved our stay at the Royal Sands a very special hotel on a glorious white sand beach. The villas were very comfortable. The food excellent from breakfast to dinner with a good mix of local Cambodian offerings and Western Options. We loved watching the sun go down at the Bonfire Bar with beer and cocktail in hand. From the moment of check in until departure we were looked after brilliantly by our host Lyka who was always on hand via What’s App if we had any questions. Always cheerful and welcoming. Also enjoyed an excellent island tour with Johnny. Would love to return one day. Thanks to all the team that make this a special place to stay.

    Genuine paradise - Koh Rong

    Wow, after two weeks travelling in Vietnam and Cambodia this was the perfect ending to our holiday. It was pure luxury of the highest standard in both the quality and design of the bungalows, the choice of 2 restaurants and the exceptionally high quality of food being served. But what really sets it apart to other resorts in the world is the staff who are so friendly, kind, caring and so genuine. Our chalet host was such a lovely lady called SreyPa and helped us relax immediately into a slice of paradise - amazing.We were very lucky to use the spa facilities at the resort and Sotheavy and her team were exceptionally in fact we’d go so far as to say the best messages we’ve ever had. The setting for the spa overlooking the pond and mediation garden is most tranquil and watching the fish swim by whilst you’re having your treatment - what a treat and we’ll definitely revisit.The food was of the highest quality starting from a sumptuous breakfast with a mix of local and international cuisine to fine dining in the team.Watch the sun go down during happy hour at sundowners - just perfect.It was my birthday whilst we were there and Mario and his team went out of their way to make it a special and memorable day.     This is a true gem that I had always hoped to find, and it did not disappoint. The entire staff did an excellent job ensuring that I spent a few relaxing days in this wonderful place. The beach area is simply unmatched — you will hardly find better beaches with crystal-clear water and white sand. The villas are spacious, and my personal highlight was the outdoor shower, which was an amazing experience.     We had the most incredible 7 days at this unbelievable hotel..everything was exceptional..the staff were unbelievable friendly..a special thanks to Lyka who looked after is from the minute we arrived at the port...Mr Ly who made the most fantastic cocktails at bonfire lounge, Jonny who took us out on the most amazing trips..honestly every single member of staff are a credit to the resort..it’s lovely to see the GM around the resort checking everything was ok..we where invited to a monk blessing which was arranged for the staff for New year..truly memorable experience..if we could give this resort 10 we would..we will definitely be back next year..we cannot wait..Thank You all from the bottom of our hearts for making this a truly special and memorable experience x , Marketing at The Royal Sands Koh Rong, responded to this review Dear Josie,Thank you for your truly wonderful review.
