  Great vide! Brilliant experience … best in business. Staff really helped a lot in early check in and changing to prefer room as well.

  Where to start there were so many pluses for our stay. We arrived at the Coast in the later afternoon after a medical appointment and procedure for my back in Vancouver. We had no reservation and I was worried a room would not be available. Del at the front desk was just amazing. She not only found us a beautiful room but we got a great rate as well. I was so tired from my appointment and travel and just wanted to rest. Del was so understanding, caring and compassionate about our situation. I felt truly valued as a person and guest. Del went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.The room was more than we had hoped for. It was spacious and quiet (there was absolutely no noise during our stay) it felt as though we were in a second home. The room was spotless, with beautiful decor and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a Hotel (and I have traveled extensively). The bedding was beautiful and soft with super comfy pillows. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. There was a full sized desk and couch for reading or watching TV in the living are and a lot of lighting including reading lamps. The bathroom was spotless with a very spacious countertop. There was a tub/shower combo with amazing hot water and tons of water pressure. A kitchen and dining area with Starbucks coffee a full sized fridge and dishes. We ate our meals at the dining table in total peace and quiet. There was a thunderstorm while we were there, we opened the windows and listened to the pouring rain which was very soothing. Housekeeping was amazing and made up our room beautifully each day and replaced towels etc. I truly felt looked after and spoiled which was so appreciated as I was very tired and needed to rest. I have to say that whoever the housekeepers were they are the best I have ever encountered at a Hotel. It was obvious they took great pride in their work and they cared. This Hotel is very well looked after and it shows. The lobby was spotless, very inviting and cozy. The outside of the Hotel was maintained perfectly and there was plenty of room for parking. We both felt very safe during our stay and will not hesitate to stay here again. The food from the restaurant (Rikki's/Famoso) next door was very good and so convenient to order. I highly recommend it. There is a wonderful eating area in the Hotel on the main floor with a great variety of hot and cold self serve and great coffee. They even provided fresh bowls of fruit. I ate an apple and wish I had checked what kind it was as it was one of the best apples I have ever eaten. Yes I love fresh fruit :) Overall our stay allowed me the rest and recuperation I needed. Thank you Del for all you did for us. Thank you also to Ronnie who was wonderful to talk to and also very helpful. You are both amazing ladies and I hope you are recognized for the level of professionalism and genuine graciousness you bring to this establishment. I am going to note that I am a super picky person when I travel and there is always something that does not work for me except for my stay here at the Coast. There is not one thing I would change and absolutely not one thing to complain about. I highly recommend a stay here.   The Hotel had Signage Posted that they were under Renovations but I didn't see or hear any sign of Construction Workers. Obviously being done very discreetly. I booked a Room with a King Size Bed. All of the Typical Amenities with a Desk,Big Screen TV,Fridge and Microwave,In Room Coffee(Starbucks Verona) on a large counter with a Sink and Numerous Drawers. The Bathroom has No Individual Smaller Sized Soap,Shampoo,Conditioner,Body Gel and Body Cream. Instead it is all in Bulk Form in Large Refillable Bottles which is definitely a Cost Cutting Venture by the Hotel which is very smart by cutting back on the waste of individual plastic bottles.   Hotel overcharge!

  4 of my friends & I shared the cost of 2 rooms at the "Coast Abbotsford Motel & Suites" initially, my credit card was charged the expense of both rooms. That charge was reversed when we checked out the next day and asked to divide the cost among all 4 of us. Each of us were then charged among 5 of us. However, my credit card was charged an extra $100.00, when I called to ask why I was charged extra, they gave no explanation, gave me an e-mail address to the manager. Not a happy customer.

  We stayed at the Coast Abbotsford Hotel so that we could see our Great Niece compete in the BC Speed Skating Championship at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre. This Hotel was very conveniently located about a three minute drive from that facility. There are also lots of restaurants within a short walking distance of this Hotel, which was an added bonus.The only room available when we made our reservation was a “Coast Accessible King” which was fine as I have mobility issues. The room had two grab bars in the bathroom, a larger-than-normal bathroom door, plus a low peephole on the door to the hallway and a low closet with four hangers in the entryway, but other than that we felt it was just a regular Hotel room. It had an exceptionally deep tub, so we weren’t sure how someone with any sort of a mobility issue would be able to use it. The things we noticed upon entering the room were that the security latch on the door was missing and that there was no toilet paper on the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Evidently the size of the toilet paper roll does not fit in the holder, so rather than replacing the holder, they just left it empty and put two rolls of toilet paper on the back of the toilet. Other than that, the room was fine and the bed comfortable...but there was a single, long, dark hair on the sheet when we pulled back the covers which was a little concerning. Also if we are being picky we felt that the door to the ice machine room on the second floor should have been open and labelled, as it was hard to find, especially with the light off and it being a dark room inside.All of the staff that we encountered were pleasant, but the one staff member that made our stay was Rani at the Continental Breakfast. She was so nice and helpful to the six of us, and our 9 year old niece will be talking about how kind she was for months. The Coast Hotel should feel fortunate to have Rani as one of their employees. The Continental Breakfast itself was great, with adequate selections for everyone. I have seen other reviews complaining about it, but that definitely is not the case.Would we stay here again if we needed accommodation in Abbotsford? Yes. The Hotel is conveniently located, and the staff are all friendly. Plus we appreciated getting a little box containing two chocolates (made by chocolaTas) upon checking in, as we felt it was a nice touch.
