    Comfort and economy. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and a 3 minute walk from gym, groceries, fast food and dine in restaurants. Most importantly the staff are amazing!! The folks here went out of their way to help and were very friendly. I’ll be booking here again.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered

    rating28 Dec 2025

Had the most terrible experience at this location last night. Was up from the with a Nigerian lady but my bank card did not work . Contacted my bank and a recorded answer was provided. I have been using this card for 3 months now ever a problem. Today somebody at the bank said my card was compromised come in the branch Monday and we’ll help you. But last I had no idea. The only thing thing this NigerIan clerk was treat me with disdain and humiliated me. She asked me to leave and told her no uncertain terms she was was not getting a good review. The hotel is beautiful and clean but this young lady turned me into the freezing cold and couldn’t care less. Does anybody in business today use people skills anymore. She wS rude, obnoxious and could care less for a 66 year old client could care less for a senior citizen. These people are horrible!I have 3 businesses myself if they had a payment issue. I would use my people skills to solve the dilemma. When she kicked me out I told in no uncertain terms what I thought of her customer relations skills. Zero, none no customer skills something she will learn later Tim life !Could care less! I will never use a Comfort Inn again and there are plenty of choice . U won’t be one of them .

    Worst Hospitality in Canada

    rating27 Sept 2025

My partner booked for me & her to stay for 2 days. In the span of 48hrs, I had two problems with the staff. First: Joe, who I found out happens to be the General Manager Brenda's husband, got angry at me & my partner for taking a couple of waffles, 3 eggs, a handful of bacon, 2 juices & a plate of home fries for two. He stuck his dirty gloved hands in my partners face angrily calling her names like stupid & went far as calling us "Welfare bums". Yet both of us hold a Bachelors in Psychology & are students. After I called him out on doing so both the name calling & being aggressive to my partner, they tried to attack me, twice. To a point where the Manager aka his wife & my partner felt the need to get between us. Him yelling to me, saying to throw & I'm a "pussy" for not. Not to mention, Joe is in his 70s. He should retire, because he isn't cut out for hospitality services. We were told by his Wife, the General Manager he would be reprimanded. My partner went for breakfast the next morning, felt uncomfortable since he was in the dining area again & the GM didn't even make their worker/husband apologize for such disgusting behavior. Then we get to checkout day: Ashley one of the ladies who takes care of the rooms, stopped me & asked me based off my clothing & looks, If I stayed in the Hotel. After explaining to her, I've been here for two days & checking out, she then tried to ask me where my room was. I've stayed at 5 star resorts in Cuba & Dominican, expensive hotels in Toronto, Niagara Falls etc. Never have been asked if I'm staying in a hotel. I asked them, why must I tell them this, they said they don't believe me based off my words & followed me back to my room. Which was crazy, then after she sees we do have a room. Stands in the doorway staring at me & my partner. After I take a few bags down for checkout, she isn't doing her job (No wonder it takes them multiple hours to clean rooms if they have individuals like Ashley on their work force) like she's being paid for. Instead she's minding my business staring at me to a point where its making me uncomfortable. I asked her to stop & she didn't. When her manager arrived he went on explaining how they've had people in plain clothes coming into their hotel & stealing stuff. Then tried to tell me she didn't profile me off based off my clothing, yet we weren't the only ones checking out at that time. I don't know about you, but if someone tells you; yes they are staying, you follow them back to their room & make them uncomfortable because you can't handle the fact someone called you out for actions that if a officer committed would be held accountable. Mind you all, all I had on was Adidas Shoes, Track pants that are Adidas, a hoodie & cap, they thought I wasn't in the hotel or haven't been staying there. (outfit cost well over 250 dollars) You know how truly scary that is? They allow transients into their hotel because they don't have a dedicated desk person. I walked down to the main lobby 3 times & no one was there, no wonder they are getting "robbed". Since the day before the GM only said they had issues with people coming in & taking their breakfast, not from the rooms themselves. (Mind you, only way into the hotel was through the front doors which has multiple 360 pivot coverage cameras with HD resolution & at least 4 workers within the hallways to get to the stairs at that time). But somehow, I'm not staying there? The carts the ladies use are covered in scum, so much so its caked into the plastic containers which hold your soaps & stuff. There is no elevator so if you have luggage & stay on the second floor, have fun going through 2 hallways & 2 flights of stairs to just reach your room. Need a trolley? They don't even have those. The breakfast was decent, but be warned if you make 3 trips they think you are robbing the place. Honestly, stay at a open faced motel than come here.

    TERRIBLE!

    rating16 Sept 2025

Terrible hotel, very grungy, older hotel but it still doesn’t have to smell, have mold, and leave past guests dirty towels hanging in bathroom. Floors were dirty and desk clerks were were not helpful in helping! Had to walk a mile from lobby to get to an elevator carrying your luggage! Would not recommend!

No frills hotel, clean and convenient location.

    rating26 Sept 2024

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights in late September. Check-in was a breeze. Sheila was super nice and helpful. Actually, everyone we encountered who worked at the hotel was very nice! We used a luggage cart because we were staying on the second floor, and had to push it down three or four different hallways to get to the elevator, which is in the back of the hotel. That was a little inconvenient. The carpet in the hotel is old, but otherwise everything was very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the temperature control unit was easy to use. We ate breakfast both days. It was a typical complimentary breakfast - eggs, a waffle machine, toaster, yogurt, sweets, fruit, etc. The coffee was very good. The hotel was super quiet at night. It's very conveniently located and is near shopping (TJ Maxx, Dunham's, Meijer, and the Dollar Tree). Also, Applebee's and Burger King are close for restaurant options. The drive downtown and into Canada was about 10 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.
