    Great Location For All Seasons

    We have stayed at this hotel/resort several times. The units we have had have been updated and redecorated. Carpets are gone and replaced with laminate floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals, the bathroom was clean, the mattress was very comfortable. Everything was clean except for the main room floor - we could feel grit under our shoes, seemed as if the laminate floor had been missed during the cleaning process. This is a lovely setting for walking and lots of other winter activities. Thanks to the great reception staff. We will be back in the spring!

    We just spent the weekend at the Carriage Ridge Resort for the first time, and we had a blast. There was 10 of us and we had 2 suites which were very spacious, clean and included everything that you would need during your stay. We were quite noisy in our suites, but no one was able to hear us which was a plus. There were outdoor lit firepits all day and in the evening to stay warm, hiking trails and spectacular views to take in along the way. The Vetta Spa is just down the street which we also took advantage of. The service desk was very friendly and very quick to accommodate with any requests. We would definitely stay here again.     Awful. Where do I start. First the place is getting old and dated. Carpets were dirty and the walls marked. We got to our room and the patio doors were left open letting all the bugs free entry. The beside lamps didn’t work. The water was barely warm. There was only 1 bar of soap with no shampoo or conditioner. As the building are stacked wooden structures you can hear the people above you walking across the room. The TV is old and minuscule. The Hot Tub does not work because the filters don’t work but they still allow people in it making it a communal bathtub. Overall not worth the $300 per night price tag. In stead find some 1950as strip motel dump. Same stay cheaper price.

    An uncomfortable 1990’s Time Machine.

    Booked this in anticipation of cooking our own meals in the room with the kitchenette, to find out upon checking in there was no dishwasher or hot plate to cook as it was advertised to us. We were going to spend 1 extra night if it was nice, after the first look on walking in the room we knew we wouldn’t. The bathroom was disgusting, mold in the shower, fixtures are all worn out brass/nickel finish from 1990, the grout was black. The bed was the worst part, it was so hard I didn’t sleep more than 10 minutes without my back having spasms, I was ready to go across the street at the spa for a massage the next morning, I woke up locked up and couldn’t move. I think sleeping in my vehicle would have been better. The pool was gross, it needs a deep acid wash, the pool bottom and tiles are scuzzy and stained. The floor around the pool was stained white where the water dried on. These units should be upgraded during low season, I would be pissed paying full tilt when ski season is on with these amenities they offer guests.

    Will try to forget this experience after returning customer for 20 years left 3 days shy of our booking and we where penalized for it due to unorganized management Great location lots of great attractions not very happy with the managers and certain staff P.S. not all staff just the managers and long employees term staffNot happy with management and long term employees very disrespectful and cold hearted
