The hotel has 104 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Given a free upgrade no hand soap, no tissue, broken toilet needed plunging twice. Noisy water taps.Hotel is getting very tiered looking.When we complained at front desk on check out they were sorry but still charged us for a pop.Last stay for me

    Not really worth it for what they charge.Were interrupted by housekeeping our first morning (had DND sign on door) and told we were checking out, when in reality we were staying 3 more nights. Asked for a room clean and it did not happen, front desk said it was a Sunday so they were busy doing rooms that had checked out, then staff said we had DND sign on door, which was not true, Then housekeeping tried to come in at 9:30 am the next morning when we were sleeping. I have no idea why they came to our door.Breakfast was coldPool under maintenance but were not told prior to booking Hair in shower, not oursMagnet not working on shower curtain so water goes everywhere, we had to have a build up of towels on floor in front of shower. When we did voice our concerns front desk staff were quite rude. Front Desk, Guest Services / Front Office at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Barrie, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m very sorry to hear about the disruptions and inconveniences you experienced during your stay. This is not the level of comfort or service we want for our guests.Regarding the housekeeping visits, our front desk team was simply relaying the information that had been reported to us by housekeeping. After reviewing your reservation, we later discovered that your stay was a back‑to‑back booking, which unfortunately caused confusion on the first morning. I apologize for the misunderstanding and for the interruption you experienced.You are absolutely right that your room should have been serviced when requested. Sundays are one of our highest‑volume checkout days, and while this can delay service, it should never result in a missed clean or incorrect communication. I’m sorry this happened and will be addressing it with our team.I also apologize for the issues you encountered with the shower, cleanliness, breakfast temperature, and the lack of advance notice about the pool maintenance. These concerns have been shared with our housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast teams to ensure they are corrected.Lastly, I’m disappointed to hear that your interaction with the front desk did not feel courteous or helpful.     Business travel can be very hectic. Due to last-minute schedule changes, this establishment was the one with available occupancy. I was pleasantly surprised with the high level of service and professionalism displayed by all members of the staff. They sent a short text message simply to check in to ensure that everything was satisfactory. It was a very nice touch.

    Stayed here for 1 night when travelling out of Toronto. Got a bit snowed in due to a winter storm - the staff went above and beyond and were so friendly. The carpark was cleared in no time. From the reception staff, the manager who stood and chatted to us to the lady helping out at breakfast - this hotel has a lot of heart. It was a shame we were only here for 1 night. Huge room, clean and perfect for a family. Help yourself breakfast was great - very impressed by the waffles. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Mandy was terrible! Terrible attitude, terrible service. Wont be returning because of her. Keep in mind I travel often and stay at many Hilton hotels and never have I heard you cant drink alcohol in your hotel room that you’ve purchased.
