    Large pet friendly rooms

    August 2025Our reason for choosing this hotel is the fact that all the rooms are pet friendly. You just have to let them know, and there is a $25 pet fee. The room was very spacious and clean. We stayed one night in a room with a separate bedroom with two queen beds, a full kitchen and pull out sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed was made with sheets but no blankets or pillows and we were questioned when asking for more supplies for the bed. The beds were not comfortable.The pool with a waterslide is great for the kids, there is also a hot tub. The pool is open until 10pm.There is also a games room right near the lobby.Two breakfast vouchers were given for $15 each to Smitty's which is located at the hotel are provided when you book directly though the hotel. They have the date of your stay that they have to be used on.There is a small grassy area to take your pet out to pee at the back of the hotel, however there is no garbage can to put the pet waste in after.Our stay was good but the cost of the room was on the steep side at almost $300 per night with tax. It is good choice if you need a pet friendly larger room and of course having a waterslide is a perk for kids.     We decided to pay a little extra to stay here and canceled our original hotel booking as we were here last year and the pool and waterslide were my son's favorite, as well the rooms are great sizes. However, we got checked into our room and went to go see the pool area to find out it wasn't working. No one told us this ahead of time or offered any alternative. Even some complimentary passes to the aquatic center near the hotel would have been nice for the amount we paid for the room. We probably won't be staying here again, as we do come into Airdrie often.     This hotel in Airdrie is a gem! We are at room 105, the suite is perfect for our needs. The room is very spacious, kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils etc..The washroom is neat and very tidy. Bonus point is also the pool with waterslide. We are assisted by Vic in the reception who welcomed us so nicely and is very accommodating!
