    Great except for their shuttle management

    The hotel, restaurant, staff and location are excellent for the most part. Where they struggle is with their shuttle service. Although they specify booking the shuttle in advance no one verifies booked passengers when loading. In our case "walk-ons" filled half the shuttle so the hotel had to call in taxis in a panic. As a result we barely made our flight.

    Gold Elite member and I was given a room next to the elevator and the ice machine. Also I was denied a late departure time of 1:00 PMNo breakfast offered except through their restaurant

    Disappointed regarding advertised features and lack of customer service

    I booked this hotel for a few reasons. Near the airport, free WiFi and a free shuttle. It is close to the airport property. That being as far away as possible from the terminal while still being “near” the airport. Google indicated it’s a 2.5 hour walk. How do I know this? Because when I called for the free shuttle, I was told it would be at least 45 minutes. I ended up taking a taxi which was not free($30). Once at the hotel I was unable to get WiFi, despite several calls to the front desk and an employee coming to the room to repeat all the steps I had been doing. The room was clean and comfortable but dated. The in room coffee is undrinkable but there is a self serve coffee urn in the lobby. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating which would have been perfect if not for all the mosquitoes. Breakfast isn’t available until after 7am which was the time I had to leave so I can’t comment on the food. No one seemed to care about my experience at the hotel. No one asked. I expected more…a lot more for $300+ a night. I expressed my concerns with Marriott customer service and they so graciously gave me 1000 Marriott points (the equivalent of $9).Poor customer service at a premium price. Never again Marriott

    Nice hotel close to the airport!

    Booked last minute due to a brain fart, and we arrived in Calgary with no place to sleep for the night. Very nice hotel, I understand recently renovated, and it shows. Our room on the 6th floor was HUGE, and though we had a tub vs a walk-in shower like the photos, we didn't really mind. A/C was cold, floor was clean, shower pressure was strong enough. Did not get to use any of the amenities because we were just exhausted upon arrival, so cannot really comment on it. Friendly staff, would not hesitate to return. Thank you Courtyard Marriott Calgary Airport! You were great.

    Airport shuttle not as advertised

    Disappointed to land and be told the shuttle only runs once per hour max. Thought they said it went every half hour so it was not as convenient as we had thought. Next time we will just do park 2 go again as usual. Much quicker with park to go. Staff are very friendly though.
