    Great location and priced well. I always stay here when I am in Calgary. The rooms are always clean and the Staff are always GREAT!

    The GOOD: Location was probably the only good thing about our stay at the Days Inn Calgary Northwest and the second front desk employee that we dealt with was super nice. Rooms seemed to be pretty soundproof as well as we didn't hear anything outside of our room.The BAD: Upon arrival, I was told by the first front desk employee that they didn't have our room ready for early check-in, which is fine because I understand check in is at 4pm. But suddenly, "Oh, but for a fee, we have a room ready." Ok, so you do have a room but only at a cost? No thanks, I'll come back. Got checked in after 4pm no issues (this girl was much friendlier). Front desk staff confirmed we were staying 2 nights and asked if we wanted housekeeping in between, which I declined. The next day is when we started having issues. Our son wasn't able to access the room with his key card although the key card worked for the stairs, fitness room, elevator, etc. We weren't there at the time so he ended up having to wait for us to get back to the hotel. Went to front desk and was told it's because they had it on their records that we were checking out after the 1st night (even tho they confirmed 2 nights at check-in). Got the card re-activated for it to not work again a couple hours later. This dance with the front desk to re-activate our keys happened a total of 4 times during the course of the day. We also got back quite late that night and just wanted to get into our room to go to bed, but instead, we had to deal with the key card issue.We were supposed to be staying here again next month, but I have cancelled our reservation and found accommodations elsewhere. I was not impressed with this property at all. Also, one of our son's teammates found bed bugs in their room (just down the hall from us) so they actually checked out after the first night.

    The hotel was very quiet for being on 16th ave. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the rooms were newly renovated. The breakfast options were limited, but filling. I also appreciated the semi-underground parking, especially with snow! Overall, a lovely stay in Calgary.

    One of the nicest places to stay at , along the Trans Canada. So clean with comfy beds, staff is exceptional and go out of their way to make you feel good. Breakfast is superior to most hotels.

    It is very interesting that the last time I stayed I had a complaint and I wasn't given this review for me to fill out. We didn't get any sleep because of the noisy neighbors. Complained to the front desk and said if the neighbors were checking out we would stay in that room. If they were not checking out we wanted to be moved to another room. Turns out the neighbors did not check out and we got another night of no sleep. Not impressed that the lady at the front desk lied to us.
