Location

This hotel is situated in Calgary, just 5 minutes’ walk from the train station, an underground station and a selection of shops. It is just 20 minutes’ drive to the city centre.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 106 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand.     Numerous health concerns, closures and violations for the hot tub and pool not following public health protocols.

    Several children developed burning skin and rashes immediately after using the hot tub during our stay. The pool wash room was filthy.Public health records show this facility had multiple serious violations and was shut down twice in December 2025. Just before our visit, a Jan, 2026 water test failed for total coliforms, and another inspection on Jan 22 found more chemical issues. Feb 2 violations cited follow up required. Feb 23rd a closure order was issued again and violations cited. Management responded to our concerns without acknowledging the injuries or offering reassurance that they take this seriously. A follow-up was ignored. This lack of accountability is alarming.Check Alberta Health Services inspection reports before using the pool or hot tub here.
