    Average place

    rating01 Jan 2026

This place is well average . It has a pool and a hot tub . It has a decent carpet. The bed was comfortable but there wasn't enough blankets. Its cold in the room . I had to turn on the heat myself when I came in. The toilet paper is not the greatest quality. Kind of like stuff you find in a hospital or a nursing home . Poor quality toilet paper and the tissue too. The bathroom seems a bit dark especially around the shower and well the sink counter kind of moves. The soap and shampoo meh average the shower was great water was warm the shower nozzle was large enough. The tv was large enough and it worked , coffee was kind of gross and not enough sugar available and the stir sticks were crap and the coffee "creamer" powder floated in my coffee . It was not the greatest. Prefer they put small cream/milk containers in the fridge thanks! There is no continential breakfast at all . For $ 147 you would think a breakfast might be included!

Place needs a lot of work... ! update required !!

Dec 14-15 stay... tried to call to let them know I would be late in checking in ... no answer... called them 8 times- hung up on 3 times and finally got someone on the phone who said they were here 24 hours a day.. go there around 7:30-8 pm and nobody at desk but sign saying they would be back in 10 minutes... needed an accessible room as my husband is disabled... desk clerk did not know what a cane was... my husband can barely walk but with a cane... at least he won't fall... however when we got to our "supposed" accessible room... it was not as expected... it did have a bar by the toilet and beside the bath tub that was at least a 2 ft climb to get in and out of ... much to dangerous for him.. he cannot lift his leg up that high due to major hip reconstruction... that is not accessible room at all... wallpaper was peeling from the walls... there no place to plug in our phones /tablets chargers.. except one spot between the beds... 2 wall plugs far away from anything... and no place to plug in the coffee pot which the desk clerk, the next day said was always plugged in. so ... no plug to be reached that was not already taken up anywhere near the desk it was located on... clocks are messed up time wise... had no energy to fix them!!! left a note for housekeeping staff to set the times correctly.... very poor layout of the whole room... lots of room to move around but useless if you wanted to work at the desk or anywhere else... 1 plug in bathroom... large counter, 1 sink... very high off ground.. good thing he was not in a wheel chair... or it would have been above his reach... also old rusty heat register under sink... not sure if it was working or not... neither one of us could use the tub for a shower because the sides were too high to climb over...I have a tear in my hip joint so climbing not an option... !!! ( for the price I paid for this ... the room was pricey for what we had (barely a motel grade room) ... stay away for room 162... it is a dump...! at least the bed was comfortable... about the only thing about this place that was tolerable.. People smoking pot outside with their marijuana water pots in full display!!! ... really not what I had expected... place needs a clean up... yet front lobby looks nice...but the back area, not so nice at all... as a travel professional I would definitely hesitate to send anyone here ... especially if they had a disability... ! they just don't get it...

    Never again.

I've never been in such a horrible hotel room. It was so bad that we didn't even stay the night and drove 2 hours back to our home. (and I've never walked out of a hotel before!). We entered the room and it smelled, the broadloom was quite old and stained and obviously had experienced a lot of moisture because it was rippled in areas and pulled away from the floor. The bed was old and sagging and the sheets/bedding weren't tucked in or made properly....they were rumpled and looked like they had just been slept in with a quick fix of bedding at the last minute. The curtains were ripped and the hem had lost it's sewing and was drooping onto the floor on one side. The window frames were old and the paint was severely peeling away and very dirty. The room they sent us to was in a very dark area in the back of the property. It all felt very dirty and sketchy. The room was non-refundable so we lost the night we paid for. I do NOT recommend this hotel in any way.

Failed on customer service, didnt feel like a valued customer

Just got back from Stratford and stayed for two nights at this hotel. Upon arriving they asked me to fill out a checklist which included me having to indicate whether I wanted my room cleaned daily which I checked off yes. On our second day we can back to our room and it was not cleaned, it was late afternoon. I called the front desk and they said they forgot but would send someone right away. I waited an hour then called nobody picked up the phone. I then went to the front desk and they said they were sorry there was confusion and they had a bus tour come in and they forgot to clean our room. I told her I had called and they said they would send someone to clean our room an hour ago. She said the best she could do was assign us to a new room or give us clean towels. By then we were all unpacked and it would have been a hassle to move our stuff to another room as we were on our way out to see another play. She said that was all she could do. I couldnt believe it. There were also, plastic cups in the room. The halls smelled musty and on the key they give you it says to lock all your valuables and use the deadbold. Seemed all very sketchy and unsafe to me. I have never seen anything like it. The hotel offers a very reasonable price for their rooms, the beds are comfortable but they have to pay attention to so many details they overlooked. I felt because I was not part of a tour bus, our business did not matter. I wont return there. In the end you get what you pay for. No quality here, its a fail.

    Never again

The room smelled of chemicals, was airless, and the window was painted shut. Breakfast is no longer served. Instead there is merely a depressing remnant of the greenhouse in which it previously was. I would never stay there again. There is nothing "quality"about it,
