Location

This city hotel is located on Banff Avenue in a national park. It is only 10-15 minutes’ walk to Downtown Calgary and other nearby places of interest include Banff Gondola and the hot springs (both 15 minutes by car), Lake Louise (an hour’s drive) and Ice Fields (2-hour drive). The hotel is about 1-5 minutes from Calgary Airport.

Facility

The hotel has 20 suites, 5 single rooms and 75 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe, room service, a laundry service, a business centre, a fax machine and a smoke alarm are available. Amenities include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The hotel has 100 non-smoking rooms.

The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Guests can choose from a range of leisure activities, including skiing, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and hiking.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children.
