Location

Located in Jasper National Park, on the shores of Lac Beauvert, the resort is on Old Lodge Road, 7 km east of the town of Jasper and just off Highway 16.

Facility

The holiday village was built in 1915. 441 rooms and 59 suites are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and an auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The holiday village has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, basketball, golf, fishing and horse riding. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy paddle boating and canoeing. The complex's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Ski passes are available locally. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The holiday village also offers special catering options.

    The rooms were clean, but they are located quite a distance from the main office, which was a bit inconvenient. The property was undergoing refurbishment therefore some things were not available. That said, the walks around the lake were absolutely magnificent and a real highlight of the experience.

    I was fortunate to spend 2 nights at the Jasper Park Lodge earlier this month. The property is beautiful and easily walkable. Our cabin was just a delight with 2 beds, 2 baths, a living room and dining area, 3 doors to go outside without disturbing others, 2 closets, the sleeping area was separated from the living room by a door for privacy, it was just charming! The service we received from everyone we came in contact with was impeccable. I’d like to give a particular shout out to our concierge, Thomas, who helped us figure out how to maximize the amount of time we had available to run into Jasper, where to find the best coffee, how to navigate the shuttle schedule and how to get back to the Lodge in case we missed the shuttle! Thomas, we got the souvenirs, had lunch and caught the shuttle back. I’d go back in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this Fairmont property enough!     Beautiful lake and mountain views, spacious grounds, great heated outdoor pool. The resort is currently undergoing some construction to improve facilities. Zoe showed excellent Customer Service, she problem solved and personally followed up to ensure everything was sorted.     The grounds are beautiful and very large, they will come pick you up and shuttle you around on golf carts. They were having some renovations/construction so some areas were not accessible (did not affect my stay). I stayed in 374, air conditioning was not working, but they brought me a fan. Highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity. Bed was super comfortable.
