Location

The apartment hotel is located in the town of Canmore, Alberta, host city of the 1988 Olympics, 60 minutes from Calgary, home of the Calgary Stampede, and 15 minutes from Banff National Park. Nestled in the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains and surrounded by 5 world class ski and golf resorts, guests' recreational opportunities are endless.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 2 lifts and features 73 apartments. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Rooms

All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the 2 outdoor pools ensures comfortable swimming. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, fishing and horse riding are available. The water sports offered include canoeing. The apartment hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Ski passes are available locally. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and aerobics.     The room is well appointed with a double bed and kitchen facilities. The fridge is a bar sized fridge which is a bit small for a week’s stay. There is above ground and underground parking so parking was never an issue. The support staff was very helpful. The location is great, with easy access to numerous restaurants and shops.
