Location

This resort enjoys a superb position in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. It lies just minutes outside of Banff and 110 km from the centre of Calgary. This resort is the ideal location for rejuvenating getaways.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 153 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests have mountain view from the balcony or terrace, which are standard features of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Fun on the waterslide and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, skiing, a gym, aerobics, a spa and a sauna.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. A fortifying breakfast is served daily.

    Just choose somewhere else. Staying in 2 bedroom suite. Room is not clean, tv has a line through the middle, pool is a disaster. Watch out for Bandaids. No staff to manage this place. Checking out early. From the time we checked in it’s been a mess. The Indian girl with AirPods in wearing a hoodie eating a bowl of linguini Alfredo was mildly friendly. Mildly. At 4pm, the exact check in time. Keys don’t work, but we were told they do, they’re just touchy. They don’t. Parking spot was taken, was told to move around until it’s free. Paper signs on doors to depict room #. Gym has no treadmill, not worth it. You’d think these condos would be clean and maintained. They are not. Stay elsewhere, there are SO many choices.

    Won’t offer a late checkout and don’t answer their phones at front desk

    Wow. Really wanted to like this hotel but can’t give them more than 1 star due to incredibly poor customer service. Firstly, there is a major issue with parking. We were here for a minor hockey tournament and many people in our group had issues with people parking in their assigned stalls. The parking is tight as it is. Some people were told to find parking on the street.Then to top it off I called last night to ask for a later checkout. No one at the front desk answered the phone. Then when I called this morning I was told by Jake that they could not accommodate a later checkout (note that checkout is 10 am which is already earlier than most hotels) and “maybe if they had known sooner”. Maybe you should answer your phone! Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

    Beware new policy

    If you book through a third-party site, please be aware that as of January 1, 2026, rooms not in the main building will not have access to the pool or hot tub, despite what may be listed on the third-party website or app.We have stayed at this lodge a few times and recently booked a stay for my daughter in early December via Expedia. We were unaware that this new policy would take effect. The front desk only informed her after payment had been made. When she asked, the staff stated it was effective January 1 and that nothing could be done.When my daughter pointed out that Expedia specifically mentions “access to nearby indoor pool” (the pool in the main lodge), the supervisor’s response was: “There is nearby access to the community pool, and it’s $10.” I then called and spoke to the staff member, there was just a matter-of-fact “that’s the new policy.”My daughter requested a refund (which she was told could take 10–15 days) and scrambled to find another hotel, as the pool and hot tub were a major reason for choosing this lodge for a relaxing getaway which turned out to be a hassle.Given the inconsistent condition of the condos and the way this situation was handled, we will not be returning and do not recommend staying outside the main lodge, where you have no access to the pool or hot tub. The experience does not offer value for the price charged.

    The Annex building should be burned down. As the only pet friendly rooms with a group, we stayed in the double room vs a suite in the main lodge. The room was awful, the shower tile had large missing chunks on the shower floor and there was mold on the walls. Do not stay here. The building is not maintained, peeling wall paper, dirty floors, overall disregard for guest health safety. The location 4/5 and pool 3/5 were ok.
