Location

This apartment complex on Tunnel Mountain overlooks the town of Banff in Alberta, Canada and the spectacular Canadian Rockies. It is secluded, yet conveniently located just minutes from Banff's shopping and dining. It is some 2 km to the Red Earth Spa and guests will find the town centre and the nearest shops, bars and nightspots around 2.5 km away. It is about 10 km to Minnewanka and roughly 18 km to the Sunshine Village Mountain resort, with its cross-country ski run. Lake Louise is about 50 minutes’ drive and the capital Calgary is about 130 km.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lifts and features 107 apartments. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a safe, a cash machine, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm. Amenities include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Thankyou to Hidden Ridge & the amazing staff for a wonderful stay! Such a glorious setting, seeing wildlife on the mountain everyday. Elk Deer, Gophers, Fox & Chipmunks was delightful. The resort has a warm & friendly atmosphere. With such convenience from the ROAM buses, getting about was no problem at all. The room was very comfortable, with excellent beds & facilities. Everything worked as it should, and the kitchen was very functional. The shower was hot & powerful with complimentary toiletries. There was nothing we needed that was not provided for, an amazing stay. Decor may be in need of a little updating, but I think that adds to its charm, and this was not a problem for us. Very friendly & accommodating management & staff. Thankyou once again to Hidden Ridge, I would not hesitate to stay again & to recommend.

    Was amazing, Had a king room with private hot tub....Well worth the money! Can't wait to return. The view from the hot tub can't compare to anywhere else. The pic was when it was cloudy but still amazing!!!!Staff was very accommodating and 24 hour service was great.

    Needs upgrades and a deep clean!! Room was dirty (thankfully beds were clean), Smoky, and in need of upgrades! Our toilet in the main bathroom never worked properly our whole stay even after having somebody come look at it and “fix” it. When he left from plunging it he never even took time to clean the floor from his wet shoes and whatever splashed out. The kitchenette needs major upgrades. Appliances are rough. Kitchen sink didn’t even have dish soap. Our Room never got cleaned nor were our beds made during our stay. Smoke was coming in through the fireplace from next door chimneys. There was actually a haze in our cabin and we had never even lit our own fire once. Not pleasant to breathe in. All windows were dirty, full of finger prints and had cobwebs. Balcony on our room was never shovelled prior to our arrival and probably not done in weeks so we never got to use it. Carpets and stairs were disgusting and needed a proper vacuum job as the edges were actually fuzzy from dust. Fireplace is dated and had no doors on it. When adjusting the thermostat it would take hours to actually heat up and then we’d be way too hot all night. Pool was our only perk of this place…Beautiful area but now worth the price. Heated parking was nice but limited. Free bus passes into downtown were a bonus.

    Beautiful location. Such wonderful atmosphere. Nice rooms. Excellent value. Cleanliness was amazing. Noise level was great. Very good service. Amenities was very good. Nothing to dislike about this place. The hot pool was nice and warm. Yes this resort has pools but instead of regular water. The pools had hot water. Like hot water that would be in a hot tub. I would for sure return to this resort.

    We spent four nights over the Family Day break at Hidden Ridge and had an excellent experience. Our accommodation was in a great location. It was quiet, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the complimentary transit passes were a lifesaver! We would absolutely stay here again.
