This ski hotel is located in Banff National Park, at the foot of Mount Norquay which provides striking south-facing views of three iconic mountain ranges and the Vermilion Lakes. The eco hotel is situated less than 2 km from the centre of Banff and its restaurants and shops and close to many of the area's attractions, such as Upper Hot Springs (4.5 km away), Whyte Museum (2 km away), Banff Centre (2.5 km away) and Sulphur Mountain Gondola (5 km away). Mount Norquay Ski Resort is just 1.5 km from the design hotel.

Facility

The 52 rooms, including 3 junior suites, 3 suites, apartments, 22 single rooms and 20 double rooms, have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 2 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 2 conference rooms.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Some of the wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, canoeing, skiing, a gym, a spa, a sauna and hiking. Ski passes are available locally.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast. For lunch, guests can order à la carte. A set menu can be ordered at dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Amazing!!! Location, vibe, cleanliness and most of all the kindness and hospitality of the people that are working in this hotel are beyond our expectations! The rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable. The value is met. The convenience and amenities offered by the location truly meets the value. Juniper bistro is conveniently located in the hotel as well. Food is also amazing. Blown away by the mountain views.Special shout out to the staff(Hudson, Joel, Ivana, Carolina and Hope) that have made all the difference with our trip. Your knowledge and patience were very much appreciated. We will be back and will definitely recommend this hotel to our families and friends.

    We were upgraded to one of the beautiful chalets. It was a lovely surprise after a long days travel. The bed was so comfortable, the private patio was lovely to sit and watch the forest, and we enjoyed the quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall an amazing overnight stay in Banff. We didn’t even go into town, we dined at the bistro at the hotel. We would visit again in a heartbeat!     Room 107We were greeted with a beautiful smile. Made our day so much better after a long drive. Hotel is easy to find. Not in downtown Banff, but hotel has a shuttle. Also many sporting items to rent. Hot tub, but we didn't use. Room was very clean and well stocked. The view from this room is spectacular! We were here with the snow on and still very nice to set outside our room to see the mountains. Summer would be awesome. Quiet and dark. Bed and linens very comfortable. Bathroom well stocked and great towels. Check out just as pleasant and seamless as check in.     Poor room quality. Good food at resteraunt.

    The room was an older room facing the parking lot, very poor quality the toilet wobbled and the window didn't work properly. Poor access to phone charging receptacles. I would not stay there again.The restaurant and food quality was very good, though you can eat there without staying there.
