Location

    Everything you need and great location

    I was a day late due to a flight cancellation and the hotel was very understanding. They did not give my room away or charge me for the first night - I did book with a third party though so was a bit challenging communicating via third party so I recommend booking with the hotel directly. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious and in a great location.

    A truly terrible hotel experience from a surly receptionist on arrival bearing in mind reception is in another hotel to a room with the door opening directly onto the entrance to the rear car park with ‘basic’ facilities at best - no wardrobe, no hanging space , truly dreadful carpet, no kettle but a microwave etc etcHas the feel of an hotel where the owners, management and staff know that because of the shortage of rooms in Banff they don’t need to try - and they don’t Verging on criminal in terms of value for money You can do better in Banff than this hotel - you could hardly do worse

    I stay at the red carpet almost once every 2 weeks , however they still have my deposit from a stay back in November, they tried to return it and it's now stuck in limbo , they've been very little help in getting it back, they said they would send some paper work to me to give my bank which would help and never recieved that , just very poor handling of the situation.I feel I'll never get my 200$ back and they care very little about it especially considering I'm a regular that stays so often

    Our stay here was all about the location. The Inn is WAY overpriced and the service is not good, in fact you actually have to go next door to check in. The room is very basic and I'm sure there are several better options in Banff that would be easier on the pocketbook. We booked a few months ahead but if you have to stay here because there was nothing else available, that's your first clue. It seems many people stay here as a last resort because everything else is booked as was the case with us.

    Location is good very walking distance to the town.Express check in when we arrived.Hotel needs renovation.Room size adequate for 2 persons.Balcony needs cleaning. AC on and off all night.No safe deposit box.Someone kept on knocking at our door at the middle of the night. Security staff needed at night.
