    A good hotel

    rating27 May 2026

A good hotel with clean comfortable rooms. The location was ideal for walking around the town.A couple of amenities were not available to us which the manager was very condescending about when we mentioned them to .We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we returned.

Good shame about the room noise

    rating16 May 2026

Hotel location is great not too far to walk to most places. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and similar price to other places. Room was a bit dated and looked out onto the carpark. They provide ear plugs for the train that runs opposite however you need them for the taps, toilets and water you can hear from the adjacent rooms. Our room had an interconnecting door which meant we could hear a lot of noise and the tv from the room linked. Shame about the noise otherwise good hotel.

    Lots of coach tour groups.

    rating14 May 2026

Many tour groups staying here at same time made it feel crowded and noisy. Room was adequate - bed & pillows very comfy. Didn’t eat in restaurant but others on our tour said it was expensive and the duck wasn’t very good. We found the bar prices expensive but apparently they do have a Happy Hour. Ear plugs provided meant we didn’t hear noise from trains.

One night stay with no complaints

    rating06 May 2026

Stayed here one night before going for a work conference. Room was small (to be expected as this hotel was originally built many years ago). But it was clean and I found the bed & pillows to be comfortable. You can’t beat the location, and you have a grocery & liquor store right next door. Bartender downstairs made us sangrias even though they weren’t on the drink menu.

A Lovely Place to Stay in Jasper

    rating03 May 2026

We stayed at the Crimson in November (the off-season) and it was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly and parking was immediate to the building. We had a room with a kitchenette and dining table (you could cook a whole mean there) and the space was huge. The room had a balcony that looked out over the street, the trains (which I love) and onto the mountains. It was so quiet and peaceful. I found the rhythm of the trains lulling. The restaurant was also fantastic. Jasper has been through so much - highly recommend supporting the community with a visit and the Crimson is a good place to start.
