A lovely Inn with great service

A lovely characterful Inn, with a lovely bedroom and fireplace. Bella on reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom facilities clean and comfortable. Room was quiet, despite proximity to the road and railway, although furniture being moved early Sunday morning in the pub/restaurant beneath our room woke us up. Marketing Manager, General Manager at Georgetown Inn, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a glowing review in regard to your recent stay! Always love going to the Georgetown Inn whether its a n overnight stay or just stopping for lunch on a Sunday drive. Unique old world charm takes us away from the day to day and friendly staff. The Georgetown is a quaint hotel but like a B&B. Rooms have been nicely renovated. The nightly rate is reasonable and booking was easy, friendly and we were given a few perks as I called personally rather than on-line. The room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed a cup of tea (good selection) with homemade sugar cookies as I read the handwritten welcome note. Complimentary bottled water, small fridge and coffee. The hotel is decorated with antiques and even has an original elevator! This home/hotel must have been quite the place when it was newly built. The pub is also very nice. We only had breakfast but a great selection and huge portions! The only suggestion I made to the front desk was to install safety/grab bars in the tub. Seniors or people with knee or hip replacements would feel safer. Thanks for hosting us in your beautiful mountain town. Excellent romantic getaway!!

Georgetown Inn is our favorite place to stay when we go to Canmore. We love the quaint decor of the whole place and the rooms take me back to another generation of time. The food in the pub is so good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Can’t wait to go back!
