  Best Hortel ever!

  The location of the hotel was ideal, it was central to grocery stores, of coarse Timmy’s and Starbucks , great restaurants and across the street from Wal-Mart, very close to everything.Upon arriving at the hotel, with lots of parking, I noticed the beautiful flowers! Oh my, coming from BC they were very colourful, I was really taken back at the beauty! The staff at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating to our questions and needs, they also spoke English. Our room was ready and check in was a breeze! I noticed how clean the hotel was , the floors entrance etc.Our room was sparkling clean and the bedding so lovely, our room was by the pool. I loved the curtains as they were the blackouts ones with sheer behind. The bed was so comfortable. There were beautiful clean white towels at the pool deck and the shelf was always full of nearly folded towels.. Our room was , despite being right at the pool. The pool was always kept clean and there was a lifeguard during certain hoursMost of all was how helpful everyone was, in the dining / restaurant of the hotel were the most amazing staff, the one gentleman (I didn’t get his name) went over backwards to accommodate my needs, giving or including a knife to cut my pineapple I had bought at the grocery store across the street, even offering me wine glasses. By the way the food was excellent! It is not cheap but every cent was worth it.The staff at this hotel all deserve a big applause, we loved the ladies who cleaned our rooms! Even though one couldn’t speak English we communicated and were joking with her too! All in all this hotel deserves a 10, next summer we will be back and without a doubt Hotel La Sagueneenne will get our business, hands down! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

  Poor quality hotel. Carpets are dirty. Old hotel that has not been updated.Leaky non-functioning fridge. Water on the carpet.Silverfish in the bathtub.Definitely would not recommend

  As a family accustomed to staying in various hotels, we have always chosen places that are welcoming and understanding, capable of accommodating family dynamics, including moments when children can be turbulent. We are aware that managing children can sometimes be challenging, and we always strive to minimize any inconvenience to other guests. Unfortunately, during our stay with you, despite our best efforts to manage our child who has several difficulties, we were surprised and saddened by the way the situation was handled by your staff. We were contacted by the reception in the early evening, and a security personnel visited us, informing us that we were disturbing other guests. I would like to clarify that we were not partying or intentionally creating noise, but merely trying our best to manage our child’s behavior in a particularly stressful situation for both him and us. This approach seemed not only excessive but also lacking in the understanding and empathy we have always encountered in other establishments. Of all the hotels we have stayed at, this experience has unfortunately been the most distressing and disappointing for our family. We are aware of the challenges that hosting families with children can present, and we hoped to find a welcoming and accommodating environment with you. This was far from the case. We therefore made the decision to leave the hotel the same evening, in search of a place more in tune with our needs.

  Great hotel at a great price close to all amenities

  Always great service, clean room and live the pool and hot tub. Close to all amenities. Safe parking area big enough for truck and trailer. My only complaint would be the air conditioning unit in the room made a lot of noise and water sounds. We tried everything to turn it off since it was winter but I think it doubled as a heating/ huminidifer.

  Staff Shortages

  Bed linen only changed every 4th day. Beds are 'tired' and need to be replaced. Soiled towels needed to be brought to the front desk to recieve clean ones. Staff attitudes were simply, 'if one didn't like it, you could leave.' The excuse was staff shortages.
