    The hotel was a convenient location on the main road. The hotel room carpet I don't think was ever washed, it smelt so bad in the room we had to go buy something to disguise the smell from a nearby store. There is A LOT to do in the cleanliness of this hotel, stains on the walls, layer of dust on the dresser. The bed was a bit firm, but that is better then to soft.The breakfast was basic, waffle irons did not cook the waffles enough. Couple bread choices, simple and saves money. There was one evening staff that made eye contact with us and was friendly, it was tough to get anyone else to make eye contact and give a warm friendly feeling....the place was busy every night. Would we stay again...if the price was right as there are many other hotels on the street.

    The Comfort Inn in Chicoutimi,Quebec was a great place for us to stay. The room was very clean and it had all the amenities we expected. The gentleman working at the front desk was very polite and explained to us how to get to the main shopping area in Chicoutimi and how to get to the fountains down by the river. Very helpful front desk staff who understood our needs and met our requests with understanding and compassion. We visited this Comfort Inn on June 7th & 8th. Highly recommend the breakfast.

    Stayed 3 nights over the last week end(had no choice because this was our attributed hotel from the hockey tournament) and our stay was awfull. The only positive would be that the staff was friendly.This hotel was not clean. Food was in the microwave, empty bottle under bed, dog hair on carpet and on bathroom floor. Clearly this place was not properly cleaned and was the same consensus from other parents in the same hotel. A stench when you walked in your room from an outdated carpet. This place was over $200/NIGHT.Choice Hotel needs to re-consider this hotel as a part of their chain because their operator is not up to par. BTW breakfast was mediocre at best with both waffle machines (looking kinda of new had signs on them of being defect (humm, i just think they did not want us using them them because it was a hockey tournament 2 teams staying there). The amount of dog hair on the carpet was indecent.Stay away.

    This is a fairly basic Inn, and we paid $200 as so many places were sold out. Definitely not worth it. Breakfast was given in a paper bag to eat in our room. It was filling and held us until lunch. Staff was amiable, and we managed with our minimal French. We checked in late, around 8pm, and he kindly directed us to Casa Grecque which was one of the few places still open for dinner. There was a mini-fridge but not very cold. You could stay here if you just need a place to sleep and continue traveling.
