    Whole place could use an update replace old mattresses and put a plug in tubs. Grate the parking lot and maybe get some curtains from the recent Era the 60s look is very loud and Terri le to look at. Tvs are tiny

    For the money the room was fine. Heat wifi TV microwave fridge hot water pressure were all great. Mattresses had covers as we checked for buggs...All good ....Brought our dog only hotel in town that allows them. Yes the room trim isn't perfect but for the price it was really good!!

    Was in Cochrane snowmobiling and couldnt get a room where I usually stay and got the last 2 rooms at the Thrift Lodge. Rooms were spacious and clean but definitely dated and in need of TLC. We spend the day on the snowmobile so in reality as long as the room is clean and warm with a shower its fine for us. Continental breakfast was a bit lacking.

    The rooms were dirty, with loose and sinking flooring both in the room and bathroom. Wifi was good. Breakfast was unsanitary, for example the kitchen staff got me a spoof and wiped it on their shirt to clean it from the counter top.

    Avoid if you can. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The phone, TV, hair dryer or air conditioner worked. The place was filthy, carpet and baseboards were disgusting. The bed and coverings were so old. The mattress was very hard and creaked with every move. Absolutely nothing like the pics that are on the website. It smelled old and musty. Needless to say we didn’t get any sleep and had sore backs from the bed. I would sleep in my vehicle before ever staying there again.
