  Ehhh…the rooms were clean.

  Rooms were the only positive about this hotel. They told us we had no reservation until I showed them the confirmation email. The elevator was broken and we were traveling with an 83 yr old so stairs were not an option. Breakfast is a joke. “Omelette” was eggs, peppers and celery. No meat or cheese option. We had two room, paid for by one card and they could not figure out how to do that correctly. Charges us incorrectly and refused to fix it. The replacement part for the elevator arrived and it was repaired 3 weeks ago. While it was out of service, there were notes online for all booking sites asking anyone with mobility or walking issues t contact the hotel as we reserved rooms on the first floor for older and disabled guests. Our breakfast is ranked #53 of over 1800+ hotels in Canada by guests in their survey reviews. Omelets are folded eggs. If we offered highly expensive items such as cheese or meat, we would need to charge of them, and we prefer to provide this exceptional breakfast complimentary to our guests; no other hotel in town provide free breakfast other than ourselves and the Ramada, another Wyndham brand. If you prefer a full breakfast, Denney's is located just across the street. They serve breakfast all day and only charge approx. $20 per person, but you can pay a little extra and get cheese or meat included in it.When you start changing room charges from one room to another and changing the cards on file it is always more likely to cause mistakes. In the future, just pay twice, once for each room, and with nothing changed around from what it is supposed to be, there will be no issues. The more confused you make the front desk agent while they are trying to fullfill your requests, the more likely to make a mistake.

  Pillows are tiny

  I travel for business across Canada in the construction industry and typically book 2-3 rooms. The hotel was clean, staff were nice, rooms were clean and updated, however the pillows are about half the size of a standard pillow, like a throw pillow. They were able to provide standard pillows at my request but my other rooms guests didn't ask for pillows and found their sleep very uncomfortable. We brought this to the front staff attention and they're reply was some guests don't like large pillows. Can't say I've ever heard of that. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and have never experienced pillows so small. Not even the tiny rooms you get in Japan or Vietnam. Only other minor complaint I would have is the shower head sits so low, I had to angle it up toward me. I'm 6'. The included breakfast is ok and you can have an omelet made fresh. I would only stay again if Days Inn was my only choice, only because of the pillows. Guests are there to get a comfortable sleep. Don't cheap out on pillows.   Awful! Avoid!

  Absolutely awful hotel.We stayed there twice before – and were pleased so we went back for a third time.This time they surprised us with a $200 charge on our credit card and claimed we stole "cutlery". When I spoke with the manger the story changed and we allegedly stole "pots and pans". We put the latter in the oven so our kids didn't play with them. But by then the hotel had booked other customers and stuck to the story that we stole the pots and pans.I have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never stolen anything. Why would we steal cheap hotel pots and pans when we have nicer pots and pans at home?Throw in the fact the hotel's elevator was broken the whole time and this hotel has really gone down hill. You were charged to replace the stolen pots and pans from the suite when you checked out. Nothing was in the oven. Nothing was in another cupboard. They were washed and placed in the suite ahead of your arrival, then gone when housekeeping went in to clean the room after your departure. I verified with ever member of housekeeping and with the supervisor that searched the suite when they were reported missing half an hour after you checked out.

  Disgusting. I check in to find what smelled like poop on the sheets. While the staff got housekeeping in there fairly quickly, it's still somthing that should have never happened. How on earth did this get missed? Do they not train the cleaning staff? Save your money, stay somewhere else. There were new staff being trained, and we obviously need to review our procedures with them. We are glad we were able to correct this immediately, and it was only a few minutes before you were able to return to the room. It is unfortunate that you were the only one with an issue in the group of 50 rooms that checked in together that day. With such a high score in guest reviews for cleanliness, this is highly unusual, and we apologize for this inconvenience.
