    Tired and run down but not terrible

    The hotel is tired, run down but ultimately as a place to sleep it’s fine. I guess for a 2 star I shouldn’t expect much more…The 2nd floor hallway had a dark dungeon kind of feel, there was traffic noise and some noise from neighbouring rooms. The kitchenette was from the 70s with limited equipment, the furniture in the room was old and mismatched. Just overall dated and desperately in need of renovation. I paid $180 a night and feel it’s a bit much for what it is.

    There is both good and bad things to say about this hotel. I am disappointed of what many hotels calls continental Breakfast like many other hotels there where muffins and toast - yougurt and cereal at this hotel there wasn’t even eggs because of shortage it is the only hotel where we have heard that so in my opinion this is a bad excuse - I forgot there are waffles in the freezer that you can heat. The Breakfast area isn’t very big so one morning there where people that could not get a table.The room was big but they need to do something about the carpet it is not in good shape and the queen beds well I don’t know when you can call a bed queensice but one thing is for sure they where smaller than anywhere else. The best thing is the bathroom.

    The front desk stole 100$+ from my account with us completing the booking. I did not receive any confirmation or notification whatsoever. I called her and she was soo rude. My money has not been returned till date. When ever I call they don’t do anything about it

    Friendly Staff but Needs Updating

    The hotel was located close to family we were visiting. It was unfortunately in some disrepair with a leak over the shower, musty smell, and the room view was of the dumpsters. The morning breakfast was very basic and coffee very poor. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and parking was convenient, but we would recommend some freshening up of the rooms and attention to the quality of the continental breakfast.

    We stayed here while we were in town for the NHL Heritage Classic. You can't beat it! The price was super competitive, staff friendly and the room (particularly the beds) very comfortable! Yes, this is not the Four Seasons, but we had a good experience! The rooms are spacious although older, but most importantly very clean. They offer a continental breakfast and there are many excellent dining options within walking distance. Becky at front desk was phenomenal! Just.an absolute sweetheart, with a great sense of humor! We will return next time we come to Edmonton for sure. Comfortable stay and the best sleep I've had in years!
