    An absolute SURPRISE at just how nice and reasonably priced this motel was considering its proximity to the airport.The people at RECEPTION were always friendly, helpful and accommodating.The room was HUGE almost to excess (I suppose a "suite" ???) and everything was reasonably modern and well appointed. There was a VERY unique night light at the bottom of the switch plate which I had NEVER seen before!!!(I WOULD SUGGSEST, however, they swap the TV and couch as it wouldn't strain people watching from bed!!)The breakfast room was huge and the food options were varied and many, more so than many other DAYS INNS I have stayed at. The new pancake making machine was GENIUS!!! And the pancakes were terrific!!!The free shuttle service was also another benefit of the hotel.A very pleasant and restful stay at the end of a long drive before heading to the airport and home.     The staff were great especially the morning crew at breakfast. They kept the place clean fully stocked and were super nice. They had gluten free bread which was nice. Lots of options for breakfast! Well done. Pool and hot tub were lovely and gym was sufficient.     I stayed in this hotel in July, 2025 and was very impressed. The staff was excellent, the room was spacious and clean and the bed was great. The last hotel I stayed at had pillows that were as flimsy as Kleenex, this room had four amazingly full (and heavy!) and comfortable ones. The little "kitchen area" had a mini fridge, microwave, sink and coffee machine. Parking was free. Great location if you're going to the airport. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Edmonton.
