    Restaurant was closed, steam room closed and we weren’t told this at check in!

    When you check in to a hotel and book multiple rooms for family because we are attending a wedding, you think they would tell you the restaurant won’t be open after breakfast. All items at breakfast were cold! Wooden utensils and paper plates, that’s what we paid for! Steam room closed! Pool has rust all around the edges dripping into the pool!When I complained at the front desk about everything she smiled and said sorry. When I asked why we weren’t told about all this she just stood there! No where to eat lunch here. She said we could order in FFS. NEVER AGAIN!!

    This was our 2nd time staying at this property and there's reason for the return visit. My only negative comment is that I called ahead of time to see if a slightly earlier check-in was available and the girl on the phone was very abrupt and rude. Upon arrival at the property, the employee that actually checked us in was much friendlier. Lots of parking onsite, although it was very full the second night we were there and we had challenges finding a parking spot. Breakfast was buffet style in the restaurant and was ok. Property is very spacious and has a unique look to it.

    Modern rooms, wonderful checkin. Lovely exterior and lobby. Great staff. Restaurant and bar on site. LOve this place, my new go-to in south Edmonton. Now, it's in an industrial area so you'll have to drive a bit to find stores or restaurants. But price is lower than other hotels as a result. Highest recommendation.

    First impression was that you get what you pay for here. Room was small, but clean. Nothing fancy, but fine for a home base for a couple days. We weren’t going be spending much time in it away. Day 2, we left around 10:00 and returned back to our hotel room around 7pm to find our room door propped open by the room lock. To say this was unsettling is an understatement. My husband hesitantly entered the room. No one inside, we looked around, the room had been cleaned and nothing appeared to be missing. I went straight to the front desk and asked for a manager. Not available. I explained the situation to the staff who asked if anything was missing. When I said no, they said, “Must have been a silly mistake by housekeeping. I’ll let the manager know.” Not an apology or any kind of compensation offered. Our room had been left open all day by staff and it was a “silly mistake”?! When I checked out the next morning I again asked for the manager. Still not there. New lady at the desk asked what had happened and I told her and she said, “sorry about that.” That’s it?? Also, both evening we were there, we enjoyed the hot tub and pool area. The hot tub was surprisingly hot. (Often hotel hot tubs are not) However, 2nd night there were no towels in the pool area. Staff was informed and multiple people at the pool were told that the hotel was at capacity and they were behind on laundry. So the 20 or so people at the pool were all waiting on towels that never came. We finally dripped all the way back to our room, frozen. Overall, hotel was fine. Super unimpressed with how problems were handled.

    We stayed here for 1 night and it was decent. In the evening, the front desk was lined up with 12 people and we couldn’t get a hold of the front desk on the phone, just for utensils - that was a little bit frustrating. The rooms are decent but the lighting, especially in the bathroom, was disappointing. The room was clean but could use some TLC. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was worth it for the price. The building is beautiful and the hotel is laid out nicely. We appreciated the water bottle filling station.
