    Restaurant sucks

    The hotel is dated, old really. My husband and I are here because I need surgery. The room is fine, just worn. The restaurant, Graze, not so good. Do not order mushroom gravy on anything, from a packet, slimy, just not good for the price. Very surprised coming from a small community I expected good food in a big city. I do not recommend the Graze restaurant

    This hotel is a dive. Worst place I ever stayed in my life. One elevator worked out of three and it was filthy. Our room had filthy carpets, walls, ceilings and stunk. We got absolutely no sleep with doors being slammed all night with what looked like meth heads roaming the hall and partying in several rooms. Doors were slammed over 25 times waking us. We were going to call the desk but the phone was sticky. So gross. Sketchy people in this hotel. Avoid staying here. We were actually traumatized staying there.

    I was skeptical about this hotel as the price was so reasonable. Check-in was no fuss, very quick. The staff friendly. The room did not have an amazing view but was clean and comfortable.There is a restaurant on the main floor by the lobby. I read the food was iffy. However, the fish and chips were amazing. The taco bowl salad delicious. A very large free parking lot and a mall just a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again.

    Lobby smells like leaking sewage covered up by industrial deodorizer. There’s a giant defunct atrium that is a complete eyesore in the lobby. Our room had stained carpet, stained curtains and a filthy ceiling. Completely outdated top to bottom, inside and out. 1 out of 3 elevators are working. Staff told us there were no stairs. The in room fridge leaks water which has left the carpet soaked. There are some Pros - excellent water pressure and always hot water.

    Stayed in a family suite room. The layout was great. Unfortunately there was a leak and water was coming down from the ceiling. So we were moved to a new room. I don’t think there was any air conditioning…it was so warm in the room! Opened the windows but no breeze. We got up early and got out of there.It was a convenient location to get downtown for the hockey game.The building is old and run down, needs a good makeover.I wouldn’t stay there again. It was fine for one night.
