    Dirty hotel. Bad customer service. Save your money.

    We had a disappointing stay at this hotel May 14-18.... we booked in February and were not told that the pool was closed down. When we arrived, they told us we could use the pool across the way and indicated that an email was sent out regarding the pool closure and that it was written on their website. I have scoured the website and in the three locations where they discussed the pool as an amenity on their site, there is no information indicating a pool closure. we had a block of rooms as we were there for a dance competition and none of the other 20+ guests received an email about the pool closure. We suited up and headed across the way to use the pool at Wyndham only to find out that theirs was closed also. our microwave was filthy dirty upon arrival. I had called down to the front desk and ask them to make a note of the dirty microwave, asking them to clean it the next day which they indicated they would. In the five days that we stayed there, our room was cleaned twice and on both occasions, we received 2 pool towels. When I called down asking for more towels as there was 4 of us there, they said they were in the laundry, leaving 2 small pool towels for 4 of us. Every day we woke up there was garbage and dirty towels stacked all the way down the hallway. We had to call every day to have somebody come and empty our garbage for us. One working elevator that has a light constantly flickering. Once ice machine for the whole floor. One of the families in our block had to tape the ice bucket bag to the vent in her room because the smell of cigarette and pot smoke coming in was so bad their clothing smelled of it the next day. I wrote the GM (Walter Chai) an email and have yet to hear back. For the amount of money we spent, this was easily one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Please save your money and don't bother. We come to fort every year and will never stay here again. Bad stay and bad customer service.

    Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast selections limited. Linens were mostly clean ( 2 very off colored pillow cases). Bathroom grout is discutingly dirty. Greasy dirty finger prints al over inside and outside of bathroom door and inside entry door. Shower and sink hot water barely got warm. Only 1 ice machine working in entire hotel. Pool out of service and no apologies or compensation. Have stayed here before on several occasions and was great. Very disappointed in the condition on this visit.

    Check in was easy and the desk clerk was friendly and informed us of the breakfast times etc. we stayed in room 334 which on walking in looked clean and comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand needed some deep cleaning. The rust and dirt along the shower, the walls and the shower head was terrible. I did send pictures to the number who asked how our room was and was told they would pass them on to manager. I requested more towels and received them quickly. Again very friendly staff. Bed was not that great and the pillows should be thrown out. Lumpy, too soft and one had a sweaty oder to it. Time for some new pillows!Breakfast was not good. First off it’s over at 9:00 am which is a little early on a weekend, however I was up early on Saturday morning to get breakfast. Food was cold not much variety for fruit or yogurt. No coffee in the buffet had to go to the check in area. There was one English muffin which was so dry you couldn’t eat it. At 8:50 they started removing the food. Sunday I didn’t bother to rush to breakfast and went out.

    I was in Fort Sask. for a total of 9 days during a business stay. I would say the first thing I loved about this hotel was the management and staff. Always saying hello and greeting you with a smile. Breakfasts every morning with a special greeting and coffee from Luvy which always started my day off with a smile. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds, just what I needed for an enjoyable stay!     The property was fairly clean The towels were thin and linens needed refreshing.Room was only cleaned once during a three day stay.Tiling in bathroom very poorly done.No security around property and vehicles were broken into.
