  No restaurant in the hotel, we had to go next door to the restaurant in that hotel. They told us it opened at 5, we arrived at 5:30 and lights were off and they were closed. The concierge insisted they would open soon but we waited ten minutes and no one was around so we found somewhere else to eat. The location here isn’t great you have a drive a bit to find any food or shopping. We also had a light in the room that doesn’t work, and no amenities such as mini toiletries. We asked for a mini toothpaste and they said they don’t have any and we have to go next door. So why did we even book here when we could have done “next door” and gotten everything we needed ?? And hotel parking for the shuttle is $75 by the way. That isn’t mentioned when booked. The staff overall are not very helpful either.**Edit**They responded to my review with a very sympathetic message.Unfortunately, they did not remove the “ChatGPT says” and the end of my review from the start of theirs. Showing me that1. They didn’t actually read my review and just copy and pasted it into ChatGPT2. They didn’t care enough to actually check to see if the message looked good.In conclusion, even worse customer service than I first experienced as of today. I will NOT be returning and will be advising everyone I know that the Park Inn by Radisson in Edmonton is terrible and they’d be better waiting in the terminal overnight!

  Unnecessarily unaccompdating staff

  Finished night 1 of a 3 night stay. At 8 a.m we went downstairs for coffee (we had milk that was provided). 10:37 we went down for a 2nd cup of coffee and we told we weren't allowed to use the milk (that was still sitting on the counter), because it's no longer breakfast hour. We were told coffee mate only. We asked of they had individual creamers or milk. The answer was no. At this point we were frustrated not because of the breakfast/milk policy 😀 but because the staff member was just being rude. We said you need to provide options at least, not everyone can use coffee mate her response was "no we don't ". After that 2 staff members began speaking in another language while we were still standing there. It all felt unnecessarily rude.We can get coffee anywhere but we can also stay at many different hotels in the same price point near the airport. So can you.   Req. Hotel that has free breakfast and free shuttle bus. The hotel is nice and quite, very clean, the staff are friendly, very nice environment, it's secured that nothing to worry about.

  Room is really nice, clean and bed comfy. Air conditioning very noisy and not very adjustable. Coming in, way too strong smell of cleaning products, chocking smell. Now my problem, which I have never seen anywhere. I am a travel agent, I have traveled to over 45 countries, been all over Canada and the USA, and this was a first. There was 3 of us seniors who wanted to sit behind the reception area, in the breakfast area to play cards. Nope, it's forbidden. There is no other area to sit and play. I do not blame the personnel but this is the most ridiculous rule I have ever seen in a hotel. You can bring a dog but don't you dare sit quietly at a table to play cards!!!
