    Park Place Lodge: A community minded business that cares.

    Although I live in Fernie and have no need to book a luxurious stay at the Park Place Lodge, it’s a must stay when visiting Fernie. This hotel is gorgeous, complete with a swimming pool and hot tub at the center of the action. Great food is provided next door at both the pub and restaurant. This central location allows for ease when dining downtown or across the highway. Park Place Lodge is a community minded business that cares deeply about where we live and thrive. Book here for the ultimate Fernie experience!

    Upgrade to room with fireplace was not worth it

    I thought I’d treat myself to a room with a fireplace. Was not worth the added expense. Room smelled like old fish. And I think they must’ve known that because there was one of those deodorizer blocks behind the television set. The furniture had holes in it and didn’t seem clean. And the two leather chairs were very worn. Last time I stayed here was in the 1980s and felt like the furniture in the sitting area by the fireplace has maybe been there since then. Was offered to take out breakfast when I declined the free breakfast because I had to get on the road. This was a nice surprise. I am sorry your fireplace room did not deliver the comfort or quality you were expecting — the odor and worn furniture you described are not up to our standards.     This roadside motel was a great spot to stay while exploring Fernie in the fall. Spotlessly clean rooms and quirky property with indoor pool and hot tubs. Spacious room with mini kitchen and full breakfast was included. Excellent value for the price!     We stayed just 1 night, passing through town. Friendly and efficient reception. Lovely pool and lobby area. Rooms were basic, but good amenities with fridge and sink. very clean. Nice shower and bathroom. Good location - can walk to everything in town. Did not notice road noise although we faced major highway. Good buffet breakfast. Nice to see dining room with original Canadian art on the walls. Would stay again.     Excellent hotel for family stay

    We booked this wonderful hotel through airmiles and absolutely loved our stay. Our room was queen with mountain view deck, and this is so true, it was the most wonderful view of the mountains from our deck!!! the hotel was spotless the pool and hot tub were so fun and kinda old school classic with all the chandeliers around. its placement in the city was perfect easy to get to many things like food and shopping and right off the main hotel so easy to find, the hotel was spotless, staff was amazing and helpful (shout out to Dorian at front desk for being so kind and helpful and greeting us with a smile and making sure we had all we needed), also free breakfast with the room was very nice, totally recommend to families travelling.
