    Went for our U18 girls hockey team (Lloydminster). Microtel was a great place to stay! The staff were very friendly. It was a very quick check in as they were ready for us when we arrived. There were gift bags for the girls, which they were excited about after a long trip. We enjoyed the hospitality room to order pizza, watch the Blue Jays World Series game and visit! Breakfast was hot and there were a lot of options. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Check out was quick and easy. Thank you for providing a great experience. Will be back.     Convenient location that us easy to find and check-in was a breeze...hotel was clean and quiet. Working desk leaves a lot to be desired and was not comfortable to work at. The desk was really not set up for work but otherwise room was quite comfortable.     First off we bussed up our U18AA team from Lloydminster and each player was welcomed with a welcome gift bag of snacks and water. The rooms were clean, the lobby tidy, and the staff incredibly professional and friendly. We also weren’t the only team staying. There was another team of U13’s (guessing) and they looked to be having the greatest time with the games room. The staff were incredibly accommodating for the young hockey players to help them burn off their excess energy. The breakfast was delicious! Waffles, eggs, sausages. The kids were well fed for their game the following day. We will definitely be back for any further games in Fort McMurray, and will recommend this hotel be first choice for all traveling teams we talk to!! Thank you Microtel!!
