    Do not stay if Disabled

    If you are disabled do not stay here. Front desk lady was so rude. Refused to call her manager. I call BW corporate after she refused to help with the cart because I'm unable to push it. She said this isn't a five hotel and we don't help disabled people. I waited an hour before she would push a cart just out side so I can put my stuff on cart for her to literally push it around the corner from front desk. Then she pushed the cart into room and I unloaded it. Then had to go back out ask her to remove the cart. She said we'll did you unload it. She also said she doesn't like dogs. She should not be allowed to work at a hotel that allows dogs. This was my fathers service dog who died and I am taking it back home with me. I stay at Best Western all the time and have never been so mistreated. Couple stays away from Diamond Select. This is an awful way to treat a disabled customer. I did try to cancel but my room was non refundable from booking on best western site. General Manager, General Manager at Best Western Plus Chateau Fort St. John, responded to this review Dear Madam Deborah,I feel the pain that you feel, I'm million times have to apologize from you, hope you will forgive us, and hope we did recover next morning with assisting you with everything you need, as well that you accepted our 50% off. No matter what happen in this world we have to remain human being, and I'm again terribly sorry for what you experienced, THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN, I give my head on plate for my word.     On a recent road trip through Northern B.C. my daughter and I had a very good stay at this hotel. Our room was pleasant, very clean, with a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The hotel staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. There is a very nice walk nearby in the university area. The attached Denny's restaurant was convenient, with friendly staff and good service.

    The team here is amazing! Very friendly, very clean, the hotel is updated and well maintained. This is the closest to feeling at home on the road.

    Everything about this hotel was great! We wished we had found it earlier so we could spend a few days rather than just the one night.The suite was lovely, large, quiet, and with everything we could want. The setting was good with areas to walk around, we have a dog and always look for green belts, trails or good places that are safe and clean.The bed was the best! The towels and hot water were great and the breakfast was appreciated.The staff made us all feel welcome and valued....pretty nice place to visit.
