    When visiting the Dartmouth or Halifax area, this is our go to hotel. We have stayed here four times. Each time we have been pleased. On this visit, we were pleased with the sleep quality, the Wi-Fi reliability, breakfast offerings, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the location of the hotel.     From check in to check out. excellent service. This hotel is just far enough from downtown to have good prices, but. close enough to be downtown in just minutes. Breakfast was very good. a great variety.     We have stayed here a few times. Overall not a bad spot. The location is very convenient. When we arrived the person working the front desk was on the phone for a long time, so we had to wait a while to be served. The room was okay, quite clean and big enough. Bed was okay. We found that the toilet was extremely low. It almost felt like you were sitting on the floor. Also, the temperature control for the room was very fussy and not user friendly. You would set it at a specific temperature, then it would go back to auto mode. Breakfast was okay, although orange juice tasted diluted. Not a bad place to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

    A basic room that cost far too much, w/o so much as a pool or hot tub. The room was basic and clean offering a good sleep and a decent breakfast with a good variety of choices. An outdoor entrance that you could park at was a welcome bonus. A decent chinese rest. across the road was handy. Convenient to the hwy and close to Halifax.     This was a great little hotel! We were in the area for our daughters wedding and stayed for a week.Pros: Clean and comfortable queen sized bedCoffee makerGood shower temperature Large mini fridge & microwave Free breakfast Free parkingPull out sofaHuge tv - could use our fire stick Nice staffFood options and a small store across the street Extremely close to McKay bridgeNice and quiet at the back Negative:A little grungy in the corners Tip:Brings lots of loonies and quarters - the bridges have a $1.25 toll there and back. It’s worth it when you’re paying less for a large room. And KOD across the street was good!
