    We selected this hotel based on TA reviews.A large four story building with easy access to the highway. Traveling downtown during your visit? Uber ride maybe 15 minutes tops based on traffic at a reasonable price. The hotel has a bar and restaurant on site that are convenient and everything is just fine.It’s very clean . Our only knock is the lobby furniture that’s showing its age.ROOM:*Was large with two king beds (comfortable).*Mic, coffee maker, fridge.*Iron and board.*New tub and shower acrylic unit.*Quiet*Free Wi-Fi*Fire sprinklers.*Wall thermostat controls quiet PTAC window unit.THE BAD:*A 50” TV with 45 junk channels unless you enjoy 50 year old game shows. That’s right: NO premium channels.Another TV issue: They are pushing the option of “mirroring” channel from your phone. We thought it was a great option until we realized it was for Android phones as iPhone won’t work. Nice work guys. All in all it’s a great place to stay.Written on iPhone. Please ignore typos.

    We loved our 3-night stay at the Future Inn, and we hope they build more of them. Our room was roomy and well-equipped, with a fridge and microwave and a spacious bathroom. Good wi-fi. The queen-size beds were wonderful - firm without being hard. Lots of shopping nearby, with plenty of food choices, including the hotel's own Redwood Grill. We highly recommend.

    Use caution with Future Inns credit card practice upon check-in

    Arrived at this hotel yesterday after a drive from Bouladerie NS. The front desk associate was very friendly and pleasant but had a strong Asian accent which was hard to understand. I made the reservation through booking.com and had been charged prior to my arrival yesterday. I confirmed this with the front desk but the young man still insisted that I swipe my credit card to be charged 100.00 for "incidentals" during my stay. He explained that it would be used for such things as dinner or breakfast at the hotel restaurant and/or room service. If not used, my card would be credited 100.00 in about 5 -10 business days. I refused to swipe my card and be charged for something I was not intending to use in the first place and the front desk attendant reluctantly agreed. This left a bad taste in my mouth as this was the 6th hotel I booked during our 2 week East Coast road trip itinerary and no other hotel that I have had experience with has requested this practice. This said, the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming. The rooms are large with 2 double beds, desk, arm chair, luggage ledge, fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker and trimmings, iron, ironing board and closet. Wall scones on the headboards with plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom was nice and clean and large. Huge vanity, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap supplied. Nice towels and a hair dryer. Lots of restaurants nearby and a gas station right across the street (Circle K/Irving). Great location. Breakfast is available in the hotel restaurant starting at 7:00 am). Because of the 100.00 incidental incident, I would not return to this hotel.

    Really enjoyed my stay here! The room was super clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was amazing—great pressure and lots of hot water.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s in a great spot with tons of restaurants nearby. Easy, comfortable, and just what I needed. I’d definitely stay again!

    I have stayed here in past and it is a great option away from downtown core of Halifax. It is very close to tons of shopping. Easy location to get to. Lots of good dining options within 5 minutes drive. There is an on fire restaurant as well. Staff were friendly and warm on arrival. Nice lobby, nothing fancy. Rooms are a very good size, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms large. Great water pressure. Would definitely recommend this location for staying in Halifax area and much cheaper than right downtown.
