  Stayed here as wanted place close to airport. Convenient and shuttle service provided. We had breakfast which is ok, buffet style.   This hotel demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and concern for guest safety.After a heavy snowfall, our vehicle was buried. When I informed the front desk that my husband has had two heart attacks and could not safely shovel heavy snow, the response was cold, scripted, and dismissive. There was no urgency, no concern, and no effort to assist.We were left to manage a situation that posed a real medical risk, which was both frightening and extremely disappointing.A hotel should be a place where guests feel supported, especially in difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. This experience alone ensures we will not be returning, and I would caution others to consider their expectations for customer service and compassion.Be warned and beware.   Great place near the Halifax airport.

  There should be a category for very good. I was not there long enough to use the gym or pool and had a quick breakfast at 6am. Very comfortable bed and the room was spacious. Lots of choices for breakfast. Close to the airport with the shuttle.They have a little market so snacks and drinks .

  Privacy violation and disrespectful treatment of a veteran

  Housekeeping entered our room while we were in bed — serious privacy violationThey were yelling in the hallway outside our room and did not apologizeThe Do Not Disturb sign was not respected and I had to put it back on the door myselfWe had a confirmed reservation, but the booking was not handled properlyMy veteran partner was left sleeping in the truck while staff told me to “go deal with it” (about 45 minutes)Veterans discount was refusedLate checkout was refused (even as a loyalty member)We were downgraded from a king room to a dirty roomOne bed had vomit on it and there was a large wet stain on the floorStaff were more concerned about holding my damage deposit than the condition of the roomFront desk minimized everythingManagement promised to contact me and never didCompletely unacceptable treatment, especially toward a veteran and paying guests. After reviewing your booking, we see that you had booked originally for the following day and through a third party therefore we cannot change the rate of the booking as you had prepaid them already. The agent on duty was trying to move the booking because it was booked for the next day so that you would not lose out on your prepaid room deposit therefore check in took a bit longer than normal. We apologize for the inconvenience that this caused. We always honor the veterans, military and government rates when booked direct and with ID at check in. We are sorry that we could not modify the rate of this booking at the property level for you.Late check outs are based on availability and by request. We do try to accommodate the best we can but cannot always accommodate every request.As for the housekeeping staff entering the room that is not okay or typical of our team. We sincerely apologize for this huge error, and we will be sharing this with our team members to ensure that it does not happen again. Again, we sincerely apologize and hope to see you again.

  They were very accommodating, the rooms were clean. The staff were very kind and helpful as well.
