Great Holiday Inn hotel
24 Sept 2026
Excellent hotel. Great sleep on a nice king bed and wonderful mattress. Room was large and very clean. Loved the chaise lounge! Lots of light for reading, etc. TV was huge! Very nice. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Only thing would be the water pressure in the bathroom- quite slow. I also asked for a couple of extra feather pillows, but did not receive any extra. Did not have a laundry bag. Breakfast was excellent!! Scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, hash browns, all varieties of bagels and bread. Juice, coffee and tea. Very close to the airport. I’d give this hotel a 9.5/10. Good option among the airport hotels
11 Sept 2026
This hotel remains my go-to when flying out of Halifax, especially since it offers a Park Stay & Go package that is very convenient and affordable. The shuttle service to and from the airport was commendable. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet during both of my overnight stays. One of my favorite features of these rooms is the chaise lounge, perfect for reading or watching TV.I didn't take advantage of the Grab & Go breakfast available for early-morning departures. But on my return trip, the complimentary hot breakfast was welcome. Thank you for making both of my stays so enjoyable! IHG Hotels & Resorts, Other at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport by IHG, responded to this review Hi messengrl,We're glad to hear that our Park Stay & Go package and shuttle service made your travels more convenient. It's wonderful that you found your room clean and comfortable, and that you enjoyed the chaise lounge. We're also pleased that our complimentary hot breakfast added to your experience. Convenient and comfortable, but breakfast needs improvement
14 Aug 2026
The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, quiet, carefully temperature-controlled, and staff were lovely. The main comment I'd make is that the breakfast quality doesn't match the rest of the hotel or the prices charged. Scrambled eggs were very overdone (tough little lumps), all the bananas were green and inedible (though apples and clementines were also offered) and the bread products were mediocre - mostly white and processed. Please put a bit more effort into providing a quality breakfast. Also, a coffee maker was provided in the room but I'm a tea drinker - a kettle and range of tea bags would have been appreciated. Soci Assist, Other at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport by IHG, responded to this review Hi Sara H,Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's great to hear you enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room, as well as our friendly staff. We appreciate your feedback on the breakfast and will certainly take it into consideration for improvements. Your suggestion about offering a kettle and tea bags is also noted. We hope to welcome you back for an even better experience next time.- The Staff at Holiday Inn Express Halifax Airport

They don’t care
30 May 2026
They don’t care. Paid almost 800 for a few hours before a flight. Only 2 small towels, faucet not secured. Stale coffee in the morning. Impossible to get human service. Soci A, at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport by IHG, responded to this review Hi carrie m,We’re truly sorry to hear about your recent experience. It’s concerning to learn about the issues with the towels, faucet, and coffee, as well as the difficulty in receiving assistance.
