    Mother's Day brunch -

    We went for the Mother's Day brunch. We arrived to discover that the elevator was broken in the parkade and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the main level. There were 6 of us seniors with mobility issues so we were unable to get to the main floor. We had to get back in the car, get dropped off on the main level and have someone park our car for us. The buffet was mediocre. There were limited desserts, the bread was 2 rooms away from where the main brunch was served and honestly it was grossly overpriced. At the very least the hotel could have done was notify us about the elevator before entering the parkade. Also, we book 13 2 months prior to the date. We called the day after and they would not let us cancel 1 booking. Not good to do business with!     Imagine being so weary and walking into this lovely hotel. Everything was shipshape and tidy. What a lovely place, within walking distance to the Citadel and downtown. Scott Travis, Owner at Prince George Hotel, responded to this review lol.... I read the title and I thought "RUT-ROH Shaggie".... I'm glad I read that wrong and that you enjoyed your time with us Mary T. Thanks for making us your Halifax home for this past visit to our great city. Take care and happy sunshine!!!

    Great hockey weekend!

    Perfect location in the heart of downtown, but with easy underground parking. A bit noisy on the weekend with many bars and Roger’s Centre just outside, but not intolerable. Beautiful and classy interior, welcoming easygoing staff, great gym and nice pool. The room was a good size with comfortable beds, good lighting, handy mini-bar area with fridge and well-equipped bathroom. Everything was spotless!     The best sleep we ever had in a hotel

    Wonderful place where we spent our anniversary. The most comfortable beds we ever slept on. We usually wake up early and the first morning we woke up at close to noon. We still talk about how much rest we got during our three night stay. Central location close to pubs, restaurants and the board walk. We would love to stay at Prince George Hotel again on the future.     convenient location, great staff, undrground access to tunnels.

    Definitely the staff are all friendly and helpful. We had multiple staff assist us for 1 request as if they were vying to see who gets to help :) Room was clean. Temperature control is handly. Right across from Convention centre is convinient. Person who cleaned our room is very proactive. She must have seen that we drink tea only, so she put extra tea in the room. Pool is great. Hot tub was not working but looks good! Did not try the restaurant but looks like it was busy and I can see the food on their table looks great! Water pressure is great as well as the WIFI. Bus stops near building where you can walk underground to get to the hotel in about 5-10 min. Under ground is attached to small mall with food court and small stores.I would warn is that there is this metal plate sticking out from the bed underneath. I hit the back of my foot on it. So I was more careful around that area. Plus we were facing the water front in front of several bar/restaurants. There were lines to get in Saturday night and we could hear a bit of music. It's fine with my family. Might not be for others who are sensitive to a bit of noise.There is no coin laundry but apparantly, you can use the sister hotle near by.
