  Excellent hotel for people visiting Hinton or are travelling into Jasper.

  It is an exceelent hotel. We stayed in a suite and it was huge. The common areas (like the lobby) were very clean and posh.House-keeping was below expected standards but it is worth it to stay in this excellent hotel!Breaksfast is nice (for example, they had two waffle makers and an excellent range of teas and coffees).You can make a drink whenever you want in the lobby whilst wathching TV or reading a book or just simply relaxing.This is an excellent hotel and I would highly reccomend it for people who are travelling into Jasper or are visiting Hinton.

  Great stay with breakfast

  The hotel was very clean, with everything we needed. There was a completely beverage machine at the lobby that is accessible for 24 hours. Breakfast was buffet style, with make your own waffles station. If you stay more than one night, they switch around the hot items ??Staff were very professional and friendly. Very easy access from the highway, good alternative stay from pricy Jasper hotels.

  Decent place with some quirks if you are looking for a place near Jasper.

  Nice amenities in the hotel with really spacious rooms, modern room decor, bathroom fixtures etc. and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good as well including the variety present so definitely value add for the location and the price paid. There is a restaurant in the property even though we did not visit since there are other options in the town that are fairly close by even though this particular hotel is kind of one end of the small town. Of course if you are first time coming here, be aware that due to the pulp mill here, you will likely encounter very strong sulphur or rotten fish like smell in the area (which honestly I wish the hotel advertised it since we thought some one was cooking fish in their rooms). I found out about the smell when I stayed for another night on my way back from Jasper in another hotel in Hinton. Now the worst thing is that the hotel should really invest in some cybersecurity or getting systems that are functional and does not require the guests to provide credit cards where the front desk people type in the credit card numbers and in the process either steal it or have the information get stolen by malware that results in credit cards being stolen for fraud. Yes that is exactly what happened to me at checkin where the front desk said their credit card scanners were not working and they took down my credit card number assuring everything was safe and lo behold in just a few days, sure my credit card information was being used by some one in Singapore to buy stuff off of tiktok. Thankfully my credit card company flagged it and I had to go through the ordeal of cancelling the card of course.   Watch out for bedbugs and poor management

  I found a bedbugs in a bedside drawer. Was moved to another room that a staff member had obviously been watching TV in. TV was on to a hockey game and the toilet had been used. My concerns were dismissed when brought to management's attention. Bedbugs happen. Get some mattress covers to protect your beds. Listen to your guests concerns.
