BEDBUG ALERT!!!

BEDBUG ALERT! Found a bedbug on my pillow. Took it to front desk. Was told the room would be treated. Had to ask to be moved to a new room… wasn’t offered , no compensation offered (although the lady was really nice). I would have moved to another hotel but pet friendly rooms were all booked up. We didn’t get any rest in the new room even after thoroughly inspecting it. I called customer service when I got home and was told to talk to the hotel manager to discuss compensation. I think getting bitten by bedbugs warrants a free night. Never got a call back from the manager. I was hoping to report good customer service and appropriate action from this hotel chain but here we are. Recommend staying anywhere BUT this one. And always inspect your room!

Unable to access reliable wifi to join business meetings and staff were unhelpful. It was also a noisy and unpleasant building.

Soooo gross. This hotel room smells like pee so strong. No hot water at 10pm. It was $200 and should be $60. The breakfast was tasteless. Soggy hash browns and fake eggs.

Want to thank Mridula who runs the front desk at the Ramada in Kamloops. She helped us with a quick booking and was able to give us a great room. Very sweet and very professional. Looked after our concerns.
