    A gem of a hotel.

    rating18 May 2026

Wonderful hotel. Great atmosphere, good food. Amazing manager Robyn, she was really efficient, friendly and she has great knowledge of the whole area. Brian who ran the bar was super friendly, we had a great chat with him. The bar is lovely and full of atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Robyn Warrener, General Manager at Sundance Lodge, responded to this review Thank you so very much for you feedback. It was a delight to be a part of your holiday and so amazing that you got a solid Sun Peaks experience - warm, friendly and laid back - just what your vacation should be in the mountains!

    Great location

    rating19 Mar 2026

Can’t get better ski in/ski out location. Lifts on your doorstep. Rooms are ok. Couple of things to note. Absolute minimum plates and cutlery provided and no dishwasher so if you are cooking/eating in unit you pretty much have to do washing up immediately. Parking garage has height restriction and will have to park outside near the entrance. In theory it is for lodge users only but does not seem to be policed and overflow over height parking is a short walk away. Enjoyed our stay. We got a slightly reduced rate. At the full rate I would argue that a bit overpriced but the location is great.

Worst sleep I have had at a hotel

    rating20 Sept 2025

My husband, baby, and dog came to stay one night to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. We just wanted an easy relaxing night in together. It was a terrible experience. The worst part was that the room was 35 degrees (mid September when it’s cool outside) in the room even at night! No AC, no fan. We slept in separate beds on top of the sheets and barely slept. On top of not sleeping, the washroom was gross. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned in the bowl or behind it. The bathtub hadn’t grime in it. On top of that, the elevator was broken so you have to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs with luggage, a baby, and a 10 year old dog that limps. Annnnnd their parking was full so we had to park half a kilometer away. Annnnnnd the lock was broken so our key worked 50% of the time. We also requested a travel crib that wasn’t there when we arrived. They did fix that for us, but all these details seem to slide through the cracks. I hate complaining but this is ridiculous. I could let one or two of these things slide, but all of them together is inexcusable. The worst night in a hotel I have had! Save yourself the money and don’t go.

Best location, but could use air conditioning

    rating23 Aug 2025

Truly the best location on the mountain — everything is right at your doorstep, which makes it super convenient. The rooms were clean and overall we had a great stay. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning and on a hot summer weekend the rooms were very warm and didn’t cool off at night. I understand it’s a ski hill and probably only an issue for a short period each year, but it definitely made things less comfortable. If air conditioning was added, it would take the experience to the next level.
