    Would not recommend nor stay at this motel. We were part of a tour group and unfortunately were forced to stay here. Disgusting rooms, old and unclean. Lights didn’t work properly and had stains and rust in the bath. Whilst awaiting for bags to be delivered to the room we went out to try and find a decent place to eat (their ‘restaurant’ looked even worse. When we returned we found that the porter, that we later discovered didn’t even work there, had gone through my wife’s bag. There was no answer at reception. Spoke with our tour guide in the morning who informed the duty manager who said to our face that we were lying. Local Police were called and no cctv was supplied. Would not even let my dog stay here.

    During my 2 night stay, I experienced:-no parking that I had paid for due to lack of available spaces-dirty room including: a green sticky substance dripping down a wall, something black and greasy along the edge of the bathtub, sticky liquids on a table, dirty carpets and furniture, and blood on the bedsheets-the bloody bedsheets were finally changed after asking multiple times-the dead bolt was not functioning-strong and overwhelming marijuana coming through air vent as there is a cannabis store in the hotel building-very loud music from 10pm to 2am (so loud that it actually shook the bed) as the lounge turns into a night club

    Worst hotel experience in my life and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels. I had to cancel my credit card because there was some very suspicious behavior from the hotel and the staff were very shady.

    I used to travel to Kamloops for business and (10-15 years ago) always enjoyed the Plaza. Funky, friendly, warm, and cozy. Nice restaurant back in the day. So I persuaded my wife to stay there for old time's sake. Boy, was I wrong. It has definitely slid downhill. Very surprised it's a Wyndham hotel. Must be a very poor cousin to the Wyndham clan. Needs some very serious $$ to upgrade. Needs to think about what it wants to me: right now it's a pub that happens to offer rooms.So: don't even think about parking (out of the question; full up with, I assume, pub-goers - we parked 2 nights on the street). Bring ear plugs; even on the 4th floor the smokers/partiers/yahoos down on the street at 1:30 AM didn't help with a good night's sleep. Breakfast? Don't even try - head across the street to Hello Toast. Much much better. And the dangling wires from the smoke alarm? Not encouraging. I'll try to post a couple of pics. The street surrounding the hotel made it look like skid row.I'm genuinely saddened by how it's slipped.

    room was clean and quiet but do not stay here expecting a breakfast. this was one of the worst hotel breakfast i have ever had. all items were liek they had been reheated mutiple times and were very bland.
