    Nice room king size bed microwave fridge coffee and tea and all the supplies in the bathroom. Well appointed. A tad pricey but because of all the snowmobiling crowd in town.

    Half decent room, no breakfast here though as Ricky's is closed down. No sports channels in room.I'll go with a free breakfast hotel next time.

    Very nice hotel. Very clean very modern. We had a kitchen had ours to be honest. I’m not sure if they all have them or not, but it was very modern and well equipped. The only thing missing was dish towels in a dish rack or some paper towels. The room is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful the pool and hot tub were really clean. The whole area was nice and in fact, we were the only ones in there.

    This hotel is convenient for the highway and we found it clean and quiet. Check in/out was efficient and friendly. Rooms are functional, decent toiletries are provided along with a microwave. It is a 4 minute drive into downtown Golden. The element letting the hotel down is its restaurant that needs an overhaul. The 'Daily Specials' were the same both nights. I had the ribs the first night and the portion was tiny. The server agreed but did nothing about it! The second night the restaurant couldn't cope as it had 2 tour bus parties. We waited over an hour and a half to get a table. I believe the restaurant is being revamped soon. The staff in the restaurant work really hard, there just isn't enough of them. But as a budget friendly clean hotel it ticks the box.     My family stayed here for 3 nights and not once did I or my family get a smile or “hello” from any staff, not even the front desk. My wife and 1 daughter got hot water for a shower and my youngest and I got nothing but cold water one night! The fridge barely made our water bottles cold and there was no freezer part to refreeze our cooler packs for our daily travels. Otherwise the room was fine and it’s close to everything in town, but Golden is not very big. We didn’t even know we could have got a discount for Golden Skywalk until the day we left and checked out and my wife happened to see an ad for the discount if you book through the front desk. Zero promotion of local things to do.
