  Easy Check in, Clean room, easy access, great parking for sleds outside the room window lots of space for truck and trailer. walking distance to downtown restaurants, Fuel station close by for the Sleds. Easy access to the OFSC trails. Thanks

  Friendly staff, comfortable bed, very basic breakfast. The room was rather dusty. Location was good and an easy walk to local eateries. I would stay again.

  The worst hotel in Kirkland Lake

  This was the worst hotel experience ever. I booked to stay in the main building, but was put in the "Annex", which was basically a Motel type room across from the main building. We paid $140 a night. We had one bed. There were no hooks to hang your towels. The room smelled like smoke when we came in, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking room. They didn't have any tissues, there was no closet, no toilet roll for your toilet paper. We had blinds, but no curtains. You have to go into the main building to get ice. They offer breakfast, but they offer cereal and milk is not always available. Most hotels give you a bag for your dirty laundry, this one did not. We had 3 pillows for two people, and they were not even standard size pillows. The light comes through all of the doors. The bathroom door couldn't close properly. They give you soap and shampoo, but there's not even a shelf in the shower to put it on. I know there are not many options for hotel stays in Kirkland Lake, but I will never stay at the Super 8 ever again, and I will tell friends and family it's a bad choice.

  Go to microtel. Rooms here are in very bad state of disrepair, and mostly smell bad.

  Rooms are terrible. First room had the moat awful musty smell. Like they had attempted to clean the carpets but they didnt dry, and no ventilation. The freezer in the fridge was clogged full of ice but fridge compartment barely got cold. Asked for service but nothing happened.2nd room the door barely closed, the shower had mildew and possibly mold. The baebecue meant for patron use had week old meat on it from canada day celebrations. Full of flies and maggots. The 3rd room the gap in the door is so bad you have to slam the door and you can see light into the hallway, which also stinks, and the freezer is again, built up full of ice. The beds were made but there is still a stink of something like mildew or something. 2nd week stay, there were cops here up and down the hall making all kinds of racket trying to gwt into a room, instead of announcing themselves and gaining entry with a keycard. Suggest going to the local microtel for a couple extra $$ a night. Will post more reviews as the weeks go.

  Gates Larocque2/515 minutes ago on  GoogleVery disappointed in room condition for $155.88 a night it's terrible. I stayed in the part separate from the main building. I checked in on Sunday of June 9th 2024 stayed for 4 nights,they never once made the bed.You can see daylight all around the door even with the deadbolt applied. Very outdated! I reserved a different room for the following week. I checked I June 16th 2024 and had to switch rooms 4 times first room fridge wasn't working and same you can see outside all around the door,second room it's was still dirty but was written as cleaned at front desk,third room A/C unit didn't work,toilet paper dispensers are mounted between the shower and toilet so it gets soaked if your not carful with the curtain. Shower head leaks like a sive where it screws onto pipe.I finally gave up and asked for the same room I had last week. NOT IMPRESSED.
