THE place to stay in St Joseph

Beautyfull rooms, we have been there 5-6 times and have been satisfied every time. Owners are very knowledgable of the regionand will great recommandations. Diane the owner and great cook will serve best breakfast or lunch bag when you need. Dinner is always great, serving local food, like cheeses or meat that are made locally and is not afraid to talk recipe with customers.

Disappointing stay

Stayed last year and went back again for a 22km walk organized by the compostele group..reception at the front desk was lukewarm at best....the room was extremely small, the two small sofas in the room are way past their prime, the very small 1990 style tv needs to be replaced and the cable was not working...when we mentioned that the cable was not working, the owner did not really care; wifi works very well. Bath and shower in the room. Breakfast was buffet style the first day...very good and sit down the second day...good but spotty service. We also had 2 suppers...the first nite the service was bad...I am sure the problem was in the kitchen...the food was just not comming out. On the second nite the service was a bit better...but the food was good, a bit pricey.Will not be back there are other B&B in the area.

very nice location, and the food is exquisite, Nice clean rooms, and dining room, and nice outside sitting place ro relaxe and also a nice tennis court. Close to St Laurent river, just a 10 minutes walk, and same to village that must be visited

Nice place to relax and take a rest. We took advantage of a package bought on Tuango. We would not pay full price to go at this place.Service at dining room was very poor, like leaving dirty dishes on the table when bringing next plate. We could'nt use table we wanted. We had to used table designed by themselves, etc.....

What a cold welcome the man of the house offered us... As if we was bored or if we were breaking is day...The location is right at a busy corner between the village and the ferry.Our room was upstair, at the front of the house so we could hear cars and trucks driving fast during the evening and in the morning. The room was very clean but small, temperature in the room was hot and the bed was aging. I got up in the morning with a major back acke.It started to rain during the night and we could not close one of the windows because the opening/closing mecanism was broken.The restaurant was closed at the auberge but we knew about it and had a great dinner at Baie St-Paul, near by.For the price, it was not a good deal. We shouldmhave gone to one of Baie St-Paul hotels or B&B.
