  Not What I Hoped For

  Having had some pretty darn good stays at less expensive hotels I was a bit disappointed in this one. First of all, there is no included breakfast. They are attached to a fancy looking restaurant instead. With food prices being what they are, this is a reason to find another stay in and of itself. The first night my door card didn't work and I had to go back down to the lobby with my luggage to get it sorted out. Not a big deal, but when I came back the next night exhausted, the new card to my new room didn't work either. Small things...but. The bathroom lights are ridiculous...perhaps they are going for moody? Spend the money and put in decent lighting is what mood came to my mind. The bathtub looked like it had seen better days, silicone pulling from the wall.In defense, the room was very clean. Front desk help was polite and helpful. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. However I was expecting a little more than a Super 8 and it definitely isn't.

  Not great this time around

  I had booked my room a month and half for a romantic getaway for Valentines Day, I knew it was going to be busy so thought why not book well in advance. Not even a week before I received a email stating the room I had booked was now under construction. They wanted to offer another room but not one like I had originally booked. I'm still very upset about this as I've always enjoyed staying here.   Rooms could use improvement

  The experience wasn't quite what I'd expect from staying at other Coast hotels. The room was in need of a good deep cleaning, or just an update. There were lots of stains on the carpet. The bed was also worn out and not very comfortable, and they only provided 3 pillows instead of the usual 4.There were only "limited" rooms available when we booked and we thought that would be fine expecting the interior window would face over a courtyard or open area. Instead the window faces into the hallway, so you can't even pull back the curtains without everyone walking by having a direct view into your room. Would not recommend especially if you like to see the sun in the morning or are claustrophobic.The pool area was nice and not too busy while we were there, but is also in need of a refresh with peeling paint, lots of dirty areas on the deck and more bugs in the water than you would expect for an indoor pool.On the positive side, the front desk staff was helpful, the location is convenient and we enjoyed the attached restaurant.

  The hotel is nice but the rooms need a facelift. We had a room with 2 queens and couch. The beds were so/so for comfort but the bedding was nice.First item: There was only one bar of soap, the size of a toonie about 1/4” thick. Certainly not sufficient. Should have been at least one per person. Other toiletries were sufficient.Second Item: Only 2 coffee pods in the room (both dark roast). The front desk staff was very good to give us more, but dark roast was the only option (besides decaf) but that was also dark roast.Third Item: The lighting in the bathroom was good in comparison to most hotel bathrooms.Fourth Item: The carpet is very dirty as is the couch which has a very bad smell. Both need to be cleaned. The reason we got a room with a couch was so we could be comfortable while watching TV but the smell prevented that comfort. Desk chair needs some repair.Fifth Item: The restaurant has a wonderful menu, great food and very nice atmosphere.Sixth Item: The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

  Comfortable clean place to stay

  Stayed here & was pleasantly surprised. The place was great, a very clean room. Had a wonderful sleep, my room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Had hot water the entire time, the restaurant's food was delicious. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful and check-out the next morning was speedy. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Lethbridge.
