    We stayed here July 2023 for one night. Here are our observations/experiences that also factor items such as: what we knew prior to booking (type and cost of lodging), historical variables, total value for the money and comparisons with similar experiences – we greatly appreciate travelers who have provided reviews for our vacation planning and hope this info helps you too 😊:THE GOOD STUFF:• Decent sized room with one bed and a couch. Bed and pillows very comfy.• Fridge and microwave in room• Plenty of outlets and USB ports• Quiet hotel with excellent A/C and WiFi. • Free onsite parking. Fast elevator.• Breakfast offerings were the standard chain hotel variety, however, with one great addition: maple cinnamon waffle batter which was a nice surprise.• Excellent hospitality by front-desk staff• We were running late and the hotel called us to ensure we were still on our way – thanks!• Hair dryer did not work and looked like it was 20 years old [the kind that are bolted to the wall]. Told reception about this and they documented the issue. Felt like we were listened to. AWARENESS STUFF: • Breakfast room is tiny, really tinyNEEDS ACTION:• Breakfast attendant struggled to keep food stocked – one person to handle the morning rush, this needs to be remedied• Only one luggage cart for entire hotel. Very thin towels• In-room coffee was simply awful, looked like brown weeds and is the worst we ever had anywhere.

    The hotel needs an update. I would say it's no better/worse then the holiday inn across the street. But it does include breakfast. The hot tub was closed, during our stay - the front desk forgot to mention that on check in.

    WIFI and room door issues

    The WIFI would not work, you have to call IT help desk. You have to call a help desk number for each device to connect to WIFI. The front desk was aware of this problem and could have told me this when I checked in. The card keys to my room had to reprogramed each day. The room had the small TV with remote issues. The hot tub in this hotel was dirty, it had scum around the edges, needed to be cleaned. The breakfast is your basic continental. The best part of this hotel is the location, it was quiet and is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

    Only an overnight stop on my way to the USA/Canadian border, it appeared clean, and it was comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. there was a problem about the lack of towels being provided, they were provided when requested with no problems however another person a couple of doors down from where I was said she had the same problem a couple of times. The breakfast provided was quite good. and the location of the hotel was close to a shopping area and a few eating places.

    This was a great stop on our way to Edmonton. after spending three bourse trying to get across the border at Coutts it was a lovely place to relax! Breakfast was good with meat and eggs, as well as the usual corals, pastries and yoghurt.
