  Stay here regularly for work, they have made significant improvements in the last few months

  The renovations are looking amazing, still some work to do but the improvements are obvious and appreciated. The breakfast is a little lack luster but they have better coffee than the average hotel. The rooms look much better than you expect when you’re walking down the hallway.

  Had a great stay at the Wyndham Vermilion. On site restaurant very convenient for late supper, also hot breakfast and operating hours worked great for my schedule. Liked how the room had soap dispensers, not packaged soap; very progressive. Friendly staff.

  By FAR the worst customer service I have experienced. Where do I start. 1. At check in the lady at front desk got mad at my wife because she was having issues READING OUR ONLINE BOOKING so she literally walked away and left my wife standing in the lobby trying to check in for 15 more mins before someone else came to check us in. 2. The old man who we THINK works here was very rude when asked about laundry facilities but seemed to have all the knowledge. He was going behind front desk so we assumed he worked here. But may be wrong3.ordered food that was clearly not finished by the cooks as my bulgogi beef had NO SAUCE and was covered with sesame oil and that’s all. 4.the old man “ working” stood outside the front doors coughing up a storm creating his own puddle of phlegm just feet from the doors and was creeping in people vehicles every time I went out for a smoke. 5. Morning only had one staff member doing 3 jobs and has zero support from other staff as a result the included breakfast to our stay was a bust, cold food, running out of everything and coffee ran out the min we sat down. NOTE the woman working solo this morning was doing her very best and was probably the most valuable employee working here. 6. Broken elevator, the clerk said someone would come to help us pack in all of our stuff due to the broken elevator but no one came at all. Never again will we ever stay here, after driving 14 hours across Canada I would have gladly drove another 4 hours just to stay some place else. I’m really shocked that this is a Days inn I thought the brand name had certain standards but this hotel doesn’t abide by any of those so called standards

  No need to choose this hotel for its attached restaurant and hot breakfast

  I was not impressed by the non existent service in the restaurant, you have to ring a bell and wait, and ring the bell again to get someone to come and seat you, and then if they miss something, they dont come back to check on you, so you have to go ring the bell again. Hot breakfast is hot, but not much selection, on my visit there was only Orange juice or milk as options for cold beverages (I dont drink coffee) so we had to go to the vending machine for water or apple juice - far from included. food was dry or greasy, eggs were rubber. would not select this hotel again for the reasons of an attached restaurant and hot breakfast again - these are 2 deciding factors for me when choosing a hotel. sukhwan han, General Manager at Days Inn By Wyndham Vermilion, responded to this review We apologize, PeterCharmBabiak for the bad experience you had, disappointment and inconvenience. We are saddened for not living up to your expectation, rest assured that we will looked into that matter. As you may know, that weekend was a fully booked weekend for the annual Ukrainian Dance and that all hotels in town are booked solid for the event, so, the restaurant is busier than usual with all families coming all together at same time perhaps. We also ask for your understanding of the situation but of course it is our responsibility to make sure that guests doesn't waste time on waiting and service should be prompt. As always, our practice and advise to guests is to let us know if there's any problem and we will try our hardest to help or rectify the situation at the very moment it happens because for sure we would have even offer to make something for you. Thank you for letting us know at least because, this will help us to better our service and quality of food we serve. Again, we apologize.

  Great pet friendly hotel & amazingly delicious food

  Excellent pet friendly hotel, customer service was beyond our expectations, especially Lolli, very friendly and professional. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. But what really captivated us was their small restaurant Aria, their pot roast is the best I've ever had in Canada, the meat so buttery, their sauce/gravy my ho may! Absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the steak and it was also spectacular, our mashed potatoes were creamy and the vegetables were just right, crunchy enough, all very well seasoned.
