  Clean, well appointed and convenient for the hospital

  Checking in at 4:30pm wasn't the best time to try this. We experienced quite a long delay due to several sets of workers checking in ahead of us and there being only one member of staff available.Overall, and judging by the volume of vehicles parking in their lot, the hotel was not too busy - we just picked the wrong time to arrive.Our assigned room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Microwave, fridge and coffee making facilities were available, although we didn't use any of these items.We had a room at the rear of the hotel, looking out over the TCH and open scrub land, which I suspect is zoned for future development. Being close to the highway, the traffic noise is noticeable. The bed was comfortable and the linen fresh. The room itself felt comfortably warm and we didn't need to adjust the heating or AC. The bathroom was spacious, with a walk-in, large shower, ideal for disabled access. Also int eh bathroom was a shower seat that could be placed in the shower - first time I have noticed one of these in any hotel. We actually requested this room due to the limited mobility of my wife who was in MH for a consultation regarding knee surgery. The towels we soft and absorbent in the bathroom.The corridors of the hotel and public areas were all very clean and well maintained. We didn't use the pool or any other facilities.Breakfast is served from 6 - 10am and a very spacious dining room. During our time, I only noticed two other couples in the breakfast area. The food was standard hotel self serve mix of cereals, toast, pastries, an egg based frittata, bacon and potato. Also available are self prepared waffles that take 2 or 3 minutes to cook.Check out was simple, no issues.Close to the hotel are several restaurants which give a discount to guest. Also across the road is a large Costco.We would definitely look at staying here again when next travelling to MH.   Terrific treasure in Medicine Hat!

  This hotel provided an exceptional weekend stay. It was immaculately clean, top to bottom. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, the breakfast buffet hot and fresh, the fitness centre well equipped, and the swimming pool/water slide/hot tub area large and bright with plenty of seating. The hotel gets bonus points from me as I really appreciated having hot coffee and tea available all of the time. It was a true pleasure to stay here!

  Nice room, Decent Breakfast But Not The Best Staff

  This property is located a little West of town just off the highway and right next to a Keg restaurant and a Boston Pizza. There is a free level 2 EV charger and a Tesla one too but unfortunately the level 2 didn't seem to work even though it didn't look broken. We booked a two queen room and it was quite nice and looked very new. The in room coffee was tasty and the bathroom was spacious with nice toiletries. Breakfast was decent by free hotel breakfast standards with real whipped cream and lots of topping choices for the waffles.Our ionly disappointment with this hotel were the staff: the young women who checked us in wasn't rude but she also wasn't friendly. The guy who checked us out in the morning barely spoke and barely acknowledged me when I mentioned the broken ev charger. The breakfast attendant was very friendly though.

  Right from walking in the front door, our experience wasn't great. The manager (Crystal) ignored our friend who was checking in for about a minute. The manager was just standing there watching her co-worker check someone else in. No acknowledgment at all. We had 2 rooms booked and one room was accidently booked for handicapped people. We tried to move to another room, but was told this was not possible. The room itself was ok, but the bed skirts were half on the floor. The beds we not made nice and crisp as usually presented. The pillows smelled of old bedding. The shower flooded the floor as there was just a shower curtain and no lip to hold it inside the shower area. We used all the towels to sop up the water. The breakfast in the morning was a wonderful experience. Welcoming staff and very clean. One star for the hotel. 5 stars for breakfast area.

  The hotel room was clean! The bed was a bit lumpy, but not every bed can be to my taste!The hotel was basic and was a bit out of the way from most things, so the price tag of over $230 a night (the weekend we went) was a bit jarring. We went when there was a lot going on in Medicine Hat, a bowling tournament and it looked like a hockey tournament was happening. The pool was full, so we didn’t go!The breakfast was included in the price of the room, and the staff were helpful and kept up on cleaning!All in all, I would stay there again, as my only real complaint was the price, and since I know this place is clean, that to me is so important.
