    Terrible response to bugs on the bed!

    Checked into this hotel and went to a venue and returned around midnight, got cleaned up and ready for bed and my spouse felt itchy so we pulled the sheets back and there was black spots on the bed and upon further inspection there was a couple of them moving and the rest looked like droppings, we spoke to guest services to report this and he offered to move us to the room across the hall, we weren't comfortable staying after this experience so we bagged our clothes in garbage bags and drove the 2.5 hours back home at 2am, the night shift said i can't refund you but to call the manager in the morning, we contacted the manager the next morning and she was very argumentative and unprofessional and said they were rocks not bugs and didn't care that I have videos of them moving around the bed but i can't upload videos to this review, the manager said there would be no refund offered due to us having the room for that long and the beds were unmade after we stripped the comforters off to further investigate for bugs. We are very disappointed with the way this manager made us feel, we would strongly NOT recommend staying at this hotel because of the managers lack of customer service and compassion for this issue!

    We were coming from Halifax and chose this hotel because of its location. The front desk staff were very helpful when we had trouble connecting to their WiFi (our problem, not theirs). And they directed us to the on-site laundry (only one washer and one dryer though). That was extremely helpful. And the breakfast was tasty although the eating area is small and was crowded.The hotel itself is tired, with small rooms. The beds were comfortable and we had a perfectly adequate sleep. But for the amount charged, we expected more.

    I wnt to this hotel because I won a free night at our christmas party. I am a choice employee they did not welcome me as a choice member. We could not find the room walked around for a few minutes looking becasue the number of the room had fallen off the wall . I would stay again Breakfast was great.

    Great location, great breakfast, great customer service!We enjoyed our stay here and will return.Total comfort with the bed, linen and staff. 2 separate rooms for dining at breakfast time - very clean and warm for families.

    Excellent stay. It was very handy to have the extra space in our room with the kitchenette and table. The big fridge and freezer was a bonus for sure. The tv was a little small but manageable. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered a good selection. Lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. We were on the ground floor by the pool and our room was still quiet. We didn’t hear any pool noise at all. We stayed here after a visit to Hopewell Rocks and we’re headed to PEI the next day. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
