  Beautiful hotel in a charming location!

  We had the opportunity to stay in Montreal for one night. After researching several places, we ended up choosing Auberge de La Fontaine and are glad we did! It was a beautiful hotel in an excellent location with exceptional service. The building and neighborhood was charming, the room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We drove from Michigan, almost a ten hour drive, so we did not arrive until 9pm. The woman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. We had a truck that was too big to fit in their typical spots, so she gave us a card to park in their 15 minute temporary parking out front for the night. After getting settled my husband wished her a good night and she told him she was actually only scheduled until 7. She stayed and waited an extra two hours for us to arrive! Very kind. We really enjoyed our stay and our visit to Montreal. Would highly recommend this hotel!

  Stay Here!! Our Absolute Favourite Accommodation in Montreal!

  We have stayed here many times and cannot say enough about the Auberge, the accommodation and the staff! To begin, the hotel faces one of those most beautiful large parks in Montreal. Strolling through Parc La Fontaine daily during your stay is a hi light not to be missed. The accommodations are lovely. Very clean and perfectly stocked (coffee machine, bar fridge). The staff is special. Serge lives on the property and is always available if a guest needs assistance. Front desk staff is wonderful. The special touches are endless. Every morning there is a beautiful breakfast laid out for guests (be sure to request in your room pkg). The lobby/dining area is nicely decorated, warm and comfortable. Most of all, the Auberge just feels like home. We wake and go down for a coffee (prepared for 7:00 a.m), take our time and return for the breakfast buffet. The location is central to everything. A short taxi ride to Old Port. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we visit Montreal! Daniel, the owner introduced himself to us. He has owned the Auberge for 17 years and understands true value for his customers.

  Nice boutique hotel in a great neighborhood

  My husband and I spent 3 nights at this boutique hotel and very much enjoyed it. We were in a large room with a deck overlooking the park. Our room was nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. It was in a good neighborhood close to lots of restaurants and bars, and within easy walking distance of a Metro station as well as numerous bus stops. We didn't get one of the hotel's 3 parking spots but the employee at the front desk let us park right in front for our entire stay due to road construction, which was a stroke of luck! We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

  Comfortable, modern accommodations in a historic building, very helpful staff, quiet neighborhood across from a park. The building only has three parking spots, but finding a spot on the street was easy. I will definitely stay here again.

  Wonderful location in Plateau section of Montreal. Across the street from Park La Fontaine. Convenient to lots of restaurants, & a short bus ride to Mont-Royal.Room was clean & spacious. Walkable to Schwartzs, St. Viateur Bagels, & La Banquise for poutine. Would definitely stay here again.
